Reading through Newbie Mafia is reaffirming two of my main beliefs in mafia these days:

1: pizzamonkey is the future.

2: WFS really fucking needs to post more in other games, as he has the potential to be a decent player.

Random thought: what's the point in saying "I have suspicions but I'm not going to share them yet"? It makes the mafia that much more likely to nightkill you than if you said you didn't have a read on anyone yet, and it doesn't actually help the town at all.

It was more a common sense thing, I wouldn't normally say that, but I don't like everyone jumping in with "Oh investigate this guy." At night, I'd rather not influence the mafias kill or the power roles for that matter.

Someone oughta do a Smokey & The Bandit mafia, just so the mafia can be called "Scumbums". Even though it'd make more sense for the town to be called that, since, y'know, Buford T. Justice is the villain of the film and the one constantly calling The Bandit, Cledus & co. that. And it'd have to be a super tiny game, unless you pad it with roles like "Unnamed Trucker Who Helped The Bandit Out"
