Its funny because signing Pires completely fucked Villareal up. They had Sorin be the supplier to JRR and then got Pires and were all "Pires can do Juan Pablo's job and he'll dive four times as well too!" and then sold Sorin to the bitterness of Riquelme and then Pires is injured and no one could supply JRR and now he's bitter and leaving too >_>

A lot of our passing was poor, and up until half-time the Yid's seemed to realise they needed to play with a very high tempo against the kids to get a result, and they were doing it, but at no point did we look remotely like we "panicked". We played the same game we always play throughout this match.

Senderos looked really uncomfortable (again) with the ball at his feet. Someone needs to take him aside and either teach him how to play his way out of trouble or just tell him to get rid of it as soon as he gets it, either to a teammate or just...away.

Baptista's own goal was funny, and despite him scoring 6 goals in two Carling Cup games, I really hope we don't sign him if he plays the way he has. Very good movement no doubt, but for a Brazilian, he has nearly zero technical ability. Both his goals last night were set up by someone else, and the same for at least three of the four against Liverpool. I like him, I want him to stay and improve, but until he starts actually playing, we've got better options up front.
