Okay, so the league thinks something fishy is going on because Howard didn't play against Man Yoo, but hasn't the exact same thing happened before and nothing was said? There was Savage going to Blackburn and he didn't play against Birmingham. Plus, didn't the same happen with Scott Parker after he went to Chelsea from Charlton?

Exactly, Everton obviously said they wanted Howard for good, United said alright, but the loan clauses stay intact for the rest of the season.

Still breaking the rules. Which is the whole argument against West Ham, really. Tevez shouldn't be playing but is being allowed to. Howard should be playing but isn't being allowed to.

No-one disagreed with the Tevez signing before they knew it was against the rules.

I'm quite sure most teams would've had a problem with it if they'd have known West Ham were purposely breaking the rules. This clause affects Manchester United and Everton (who agreed to it), no-one else.

It's not like Everton are some mid-table side with nothing to lose. They're fighting for a spot in Europe. It's not against the rules to have a verbal agreement to carry out the loan terms, as Moyes said in the article it helped the permanent move get done quicker.

Nowt fishy at all here. Normal sort of loan/transfer agreement. Maybe you don't like the clause which is fine, but its legal. Maybe you can teach that word to the owners of Tevez.
