Wigan aren't in the relegation zone because West Ham "cheated" (because they didn't cheat, for a start). They're in the relegation zone because they fucking suck.

Well, if the Premier League/FA whatever don't overturn the West Ham fine and points deduction then there will, until then, there'll be fine.

As much as I hate to, I agree with Paul Jewell.

Okay, so the league thinks something fishy is going on because Howard didn't play against Man Yoo, but hasn't the exact same thing happened before and nothing was said? There was Savage going to Blackburn and he didn't play against Birmingham. Plus, didn't the same happen with Scott Parker after he went to Chelsea from Charlton?

This makes no sense.

Still breaking the rules. Which is the whole argument against West Ham, really. Tevez shouldn't be playing but is being allowed to. Howard should be playing but isn't being allowed to.

Nothing will come out of it, either way.

I'm quite sure most teams would've had a problem with it if they'd have known West Ham were purposely breaking the rules. This clause affects Manchester United and Everton (who agreed to it), no-one else.

Edit: Man Utd have won the Premiership (Y)

It's not like Everton are some mid-table side with nothing to lose. They're fighting for a spot in Europe. It's not against the rules to have a verbal agreement to carry out the loan terms, as Moyes said in the article it helped the permanent move get done quicker.

EDIT- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ton/6362649.stm

Read the first paragraph. "that will start at the end of the season." Who knows what exactly that means, other than Utd clearly wanted the loan terms carried out.
