Playing Tales of Vespira on Gamepass. I like the art style and the music, the combat is taking some getting used to. The portraits for the side conversations are bad though. And apparently the game just straight up gives you like a million different items at the start of the game? I could have had 300k gold. And a bunch of levels. Decided against that (for now.... although I took the materials and stuff)

Jedi: Fallen Order joins EA Play on 10th November, which means that Game Pass Ultimate users will be able to play it on that day too.

Hell yeah, don’t have to buy it then.

Series S reviews are out, pretty much confirmed it’s one major drawback is the smaller SSD.  But if you don’t have  the TV for or don’t care about 4K gaming, it’s a good value.  Great load times, can do a lot to enhance previous generation titles.  It’s not some major seismic shift in gaming, but the reviews indicate the Series X isn’t either.  Both seem to be solid, reliable upgrades to the Xbox One, with more capabilities based on how much you pay.

Makes me pretty happy with my purchase of an S, considering I’m upgrading from a near launch Xbox One.

Had Fallen Order on my radar since it came out since it's a Dark Souls-like so will deffo be checking it out when it drops.

I wasn't really all that interested in it, but I am now that I'll be getting it as part of a subscription anyway. If I don't like it, nothing's lost.

I think if I'm doing the math right it would still be cheaper for me to get the cheaper game pass and a year of EA Play. I don't have a PC that can really run many games anyway

If you get a year of EA Play now, it should convert into four months of Game Pass Ultimate automatically on 10th November.

Anyone have the new Watch Dogs? It has crashed every time I play it. Sometime after like an hour or sometimes right away but it always crashes

I don't have it myself, but I've read that crashing is a common issue. There's supposed to be a patch on the way to fix it at an as-yet unannounced time.

Good news for Game Pass owners getting the new consoles tomorrow: Planet Coaster will now be one of the Game Pass launch games.

In less spectacular, but still welcome news, Game Pass subscribers will also get a free 30-day Disney Plus trial.

I do love me a good roller coaster game. I was gonna pick up AC tomorrow... but with Gamepass alone I'm getting Tetris, Gears Tactics, Star Wars, and now that!
