You do realise that a lot of non-Japanese music covers these things also? Mainstream covers such a small amount of the music out there realistically, thats a poor excuse

I also listen to The Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's

It's so hard to find that style music.

I really enjoy System of a Down aswell, as they are passionate about their music, and their songs have meanings in them (even if I don't understand and/or agree with them.)

But it really comes down to what we get here in Australia. It is all mainly crap. We get the odd good English/America/Australian rock band, which sounds good.

I was lucky to find 4/5 japanese bands I really enjoy, and really like how they feel about their music. Given everything in the world, that is not alot... So don't take my liking of these japanese musicians to be saying everything else in the world is all 'mainstream crap'.

I bought Smile by The Pillows, and bought something by Bz too, since they were the only ones I could really find. The rest were probably there, but I was just getting a bit bored looking.
