Guns N Roses. I love them but everyone seems to hate them, maybe its because Axl is an arse but on the stage hes just amazing.

I also love the mid 90s brit pop/rock scene of Oasis, Blur, The Verve etc. Thats not as popular nowadays.

I seconded the Dashboard Confessional mention. Pretty much my favorite band but everybody I know pretty much shits on them.

Same with Taking Back Sunday. Only a few people I know like them.

And I'm not ashamed to admit I like that one Nelly Furtado song "Promiscuous Girl"

Nelly Furtardo is fucking immense. Some good songs too. Seriously, Nelly Furtardo has some great songs. I don't think that song has been released as a single here, but "Man Eater" is pretty good. No "I'm Like a Bird" though.

Glad to find another Stranglers fan amongst our ranks. No More Heroes is an absolutely brilliant album, and has somehow flown under the radar. The Raven is another favorite album of mine that they produced. Their sound is great, like The Screamers meet the Flesh Eaters.
