Fuck yes, 3rd win in a row for Wigan, looks like we won't be getting relegated the way we're going, Noble is doing wonders for us. Shame we won't have Michael Dobson next year.

Who tuned in for tonight's State of Origin decider? Aside from the shitty outcome (God damn Queenslanders) it was a good game. Bloody pissed off at Brett Hodgson for his string of shitty decisions and poor conversions.

That said, I am somewhat glad QLD finally won it. I found it really hard to get into this year's series, and I think it's because NSW had won the last three quite comfortably. Hopefully next year will have plenty of fire in it.

A family friend who hasn't watched much league since the Super League debacle even commented on how poorly Hodgson went and how he seems to get dragged back five metres every tackle, or even just fall off tackles himself. He's overrated in my opinion.

Last year Hodgson was in superb form, but this year he's done precious little to justify his selection. Minichiello's absence hurt, but I'd rather have seen somebody like Brett Stewart, Luke Patten, or Ben Hornby there this year.

I was also unhappy with Gasnier being played in the halves (an obvious ego stroking move) when Adam Dykes has been the form player in the NRL for the past six weeks. Gower's injuries of late made it a little odd to see him there - I'd have preffered more Finch or Kimmorley over him.

Standouts for NSW for me were Matt King, Steve Simpson, Mark O'Meley, and Willie Mason. For QLD it was Lockyer, Thurston, Mogg, Tate, and Civoniceva.

Be fair on Hodgson though, it was just one shit night. Hopefully it doesn't haunt him forever like Kimmorley's floater from Game 1 last year.

Meh. NSW are screwed for good five-eighths at the moment.

1. Minichello

2. Grothe

3. Cooper

4. Gasnier

5. King

6. Lyon

7. Head

8. Bailey

9. Buderus

10. Mason

11. O'Donnell

12. Hindmarsh

13. Tounge

14. Young

15. Menzies

16. O'Meley

17. Wicks

The 15 jersey depends if Menzies decides to retire or not. If he does, Simpson, Gallen, Lahrs or Watmough even could get it.
