A website that rates album tracks or singles

Every so often you will hear a song by a band and for whatever reason you will be motivated to find more of this bands work. I figured it would be easier to ask if a website existed that rated singles and album tracks, rather than coming here everytime I hear a new band to ask for recommendations. So does anyone know of a website that has this feature?

They've got album reviews and track recommendations, similar artists, inspired artists, side projects, just that it's slow as hell.

You could try www.metacritic.com, it's a nice site that collects various reviews on music, games and movies and is pretty nicely searchable. However, it is mainstream-oriented, so prepare to be disappointed.
