Recommend Me Some Good Scores

CKN

Recommended Posts

Ok recently I have started to enjoy movie and video game scores. So if anyone wants to recommend any scores from movies, video games, etc. go right ahead.

I only have a few so far but please recommend some so I can broaden my musical taste.

I highly enjoy the scores from Twister (Mark Mancina), Starship Troopers (Basil Poledouris), Krull (James Horner), Star Trek II (Horner again), and the John Williams scores.

All the Star Trek film scores are amazing as well.

Let's see...

A Beautiful Mind(also Horner)

Anything by Craig Armstrong(He's fairly new)

Danny Elfman(Spiderman films, Edward Scissorhands)

Sean Callery(I only recommend the 24 soundtrack as I don't know his other work)

Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber(theme from Platoon)

Halo Video game scores

Final Fantasy Game scores

Dang...I know some more. I'll post more if I think of em.
