Spurs agree deal for Huddlestone

Derby County have revealed they have agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to sell midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

The versatile 18-year-old, who can play in defence as well, will join the White Hart Lane outfit in the summer in a deal which could be worth £2.5m.

"When Spurs approached us we recognised this move is a great opportunity for Tom and sensible one for the club," said Rams chief executive Jeremy Keith.

Huddlestone has played 79 games for George Burley's play-off chasing side.

What say for Leicester for champions in 5 years time? While you guys have been looking into the Premiership we've nicked in and got a few decent players, mostly young.

Alan Maybury - from Hearts

Mark De Vries - from Hearts

Stephen Hughes - from Rangers

Lars Hirshfeld - from somewhere

Patrick Kisnorbo - from Hearts in the summer

I sense we are about to hit another run like we had with the great Martin O'Neill. Watch out guys cause the Foxes are coming back!
