I'm not so much bothered by the amount of Jalens in the league, but I am extremely bothered by the seemingly unending variety of ways it is being spelled.

Still having 14-man rosters but with an extra starting spot made for an interesting wrinkle because it's like, the end of the draft is obviously the time to take flyers on rookies but if your team goes through a lot of injuries or you have bye weeks, you've got some decisions you don't have in a normal league.  You might be clogging up a roster spot on a guy not actually playing yet and you need to decide on if forfeiting the draft rights/value protection is worth it to try to win now or if your season is toast and you just load up on guys for the next season.

Like will I actually be able to keep Drake Maye on my roster as a QB3 all season?  As high as I am on him as a real-life prospect I'd be very surprised if he was a viable fantasy starter at any point this year on that team, and his ADP value next year is almost certainly gonna be the same round I took him in, round 13 (assuming I use my wild card).  JJ is a similar situation with the exception that he doesn't count against your active roster, but does burn a possibly valuable IR spot and you're simply securing his 2025 rights.

It's fun!  I dunno if I'd ever have the patience for a proper dynasty league where you've got like 20-something man rosters and keep everybody.  That feels like it would be maddening.  This is right smack in the middle and it adds a lot of extra strategy during the year.
