Pats trade Matthew Judon to the Falcons for a 3rd round pick. I imagine this was because of the bit of a bust up Judon had with Mayo the other week.

Very few bad teams on their schedule too. Considering the last place teams in the AFC last year that they face are the Chargers and Bengals. I would sincerely be surprised if they win more than 4 games.

Daniel Jones’ first quarter back from injury:

first pass was right into Derrick Stingley’s chest and lucky to not be intercepted.  Second drive he throws a pick six.  Third drive he actually puts something together only to once again get picked off.

The relatively low bar I had for him was 2022 performance.  I’m not really convinced he even has that in him anymore.

If he can’t outscore Sam Darnold at home in week 1 they might just have to turn to Lock/DeVito in week 2 and hope for the best.  Anything to keep Jones from hurting himself and voiding the out in his contract.

Buffalo & Minnesota are 1a and 1b for cursed NFL teams. Atlanta are probably the only team close to them where they have had 2-3 times you reasonably could have said won, including the biggest Super Bowl collapse ever.

The other teams to have never made or won a Super Bowl have either just generally been terrible (Detroit) or are newer franchises (Jacksonville).
