Martin Mull Has Passed Away

I've only really started getting a sense of Martin Mull's work outside of the various shows and movies I'd seen him in in the last year. I had no idea that he'd basically stated out as a songwriter/musician and then transitioned very successfully into acting with stuff like Fernwood 2 Night, which I think I'm set to start watching next week.

For basically every decade from the '70s to the '00s he had an incredibly memorable character that serves as a reference point for multiple generations. He's Garth/Barth Gimble, he's Col. Mustard, he's Principal Kraft, he's Gene Parmesan, and a lot more on top of that. Hell of a run.
