It’s very weird when a guy gets traded before he’s even picked and still has to go on stage, wear the hat of the team he’s not actually going to be playing for etc.

Leon Rose is hilarious.  Has back to back first rounders.  Trades the first one down two spots to swap picks with Washington and pick up a second rounder.  Drafts a French dude who will likely be an international stash and not even play for them this year.  Then takes the second first rounder and trades it to OKC for five second round picks.  A mad man.

As Woj said though, they’re on a budget now after the Bridges trade and OG signing.  They’re still trying to keep Hartenstein.  So that means they’ll need to fill out the rest of the bench with cheap 2nd rounders.  With the team they have now those guys hopefully shouldn’t be seeing much time.

Stephon Castle looks like a great get, hope he develops well. Next 2-3 years is going to be really exciting.

Due to it not being on League Pass and televised behind a £40 a month paywall in the UK, I'm watching it through the ESPN YouTube show. It is horrifying. Everyone feels the need to be talking all the time, while Windhorst makes sly comments because he knows who's getting drafted long before it's announced, knows he's not allowed to say it, but wants everyone to know that he knows.

Anyway, we've thrown some of the few picks we had left to get Rob Dillingham, and I really don't feel like the #8 pick in this draft is going to be worth two future first rounders. At least he will have the chance to learn under Mike Conley.

Rich Paul was apparently telling other teams that Bronny would not report and would instead go to Australia if they drafted him.

If LeGM’s goal was to make his son look like a total bitch during this entire process, he did a stellar job.

This feels like a historic juncture point where the Lakers go from the marquee/model franchise into the "holy shit remember when they let LeBron draft his son haha" team.

In many ways, it's a PR masterstroke. Now nobody is talking about how he convinced the Lakers to hire his podcast buddy with zero coaching experience as head coach.

Ironically, the Lakers could very well end up wishing they could send him to Australia.

I'm still surprised at the trade the Knicks pulled off to get Mikal Bridges. That's going to be one hell of a line-up, but they might have paid too high a price. If they have too many players get injured, they're going to wish they had some of those draft picks back.
