I never understood teams strengthening their opponents, football manager always taught me to sell to teams who aren’t competition.

But the likes of Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling, Sancho, Kovacic etc always baffle my mind to just let them go to rival clubs.

At least the likes of Van Persie, Sterling from Liverpool so on and so forth felt forced.
