They can probably dump Casemiro to Saudi Arabia in January or next summer. But he's cooked.

Honestly could do it this month as Saudi window is still open.

Also: Death. Taxes. Salah scoring at Old Trafford.

Surely you want him in the squad for the return fixture at Anfield.

Post match ceremony then in the return game

It's fun to beat United 3-0 but it's interesting to see the difference between Slot and Klopp in a big game like this.

Under Klopp  (in recent seasons anyway) this might have been a bit more of a game.

Considering the "Liverpool in the 90s phase" is actually "Liverpool for 30 years" phase, hopefully quite a while yet.

Ten Hag is honestly feeling like someone circling the drain. Some of the stuff he's come out with in the press recently is quite cringeworthy.

The real difference between  Liverpool's dominant period and Uniteds is they managed to go from Shankly to Paisely to Fagan to Dalglish while keeping consistent levels of success.

Its not been like that for United. The club hasn't found any real footing since Ferguson left it seems. They just throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

Ten Hag has all the characteristics of a guy who has no desire to fight for the club since he knows they are just waiting for the right replacement to be available.

There's a waistcoat waiting for a certain English manager

Southgate would certainly get the culture of the club, but I'm not sure he's a good enough tactician to make it work. Would need someone around him who is good at that - but y'know, Kieran McKenna left several years ago and it's certainly worked out for him.

The less said about yesterday's result the better! As for Ten Haag I was shocked that we kept him after last season but he obviously has the confidence of Ratcliffe and co so can't see him getting the sack any time soon. There have been glimpses of a better style of football this season (not yesterday 😭) so I'm still hopeful we can get going after the internationals and put some results together.

In a week where UEFA of all people have announced reducing price caps for away fans in all three competitions, Villa have announced their CL pricing. Fucking hell, well above the away cap even for the cheap seats.

Football regulator needs to happen quickly, fans are being absolutely shit on.
