I have to say that basically swapping Felix for Gallagher is a net gain for Atletico.

If the quoted transfer fees are accurate, then they've got £10m on top too.

Cant believe nobody posted the biggest transfer news of the window

Former Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom has signed for Derry City until the end of the season.

The Guardian are reporting that Chelsea are looking to replace Axel Disasi.

Didn't he only recently sign?

Last summer, should still have five years left to run on his contract.

Fulham have signed Berge for £25m. Hoping for some sweet sweet sell-on clause money...

Lukaku apparently FINALLY off on a permanent transfer to Napoli, €30m + maybe €15m in add-ons.

Get the fuck out of our club (again).

I honestly cannot believe Chelsea got Napoli to pay so much money for a player Chelsea haven't wanted for years, doesn't want to be there, is on ridiculous wages, and is now 31 years old. I would have expected no more than half that. Napoli have just catered to Conte and it's going to immediately go to shit. They also paid €30m for David Neres, who was only above average at best in Portugal. Meanwhile, they've pushed both of their star players to being both miserable and wanting out. What a mess.

Also really perplexed by some of Brighton's transfers this summer. They've spent a stupid amount of money on a forward who's a shit finisher, and now over €30m each on a CM from the Dutch league that could go either way in terms of success/flop, a young and unproven winger, and now a LB when they have Estupian, who had a great first season and had rotten luck last year with impact injuries, which also forces out a very promising LB as well.

@stokeriño @Szumi The thing with Lukaku is, he's been successful everywhere he has played except for Chelsea. Double figures literally every single season since he came through at Anderlecht aged 16, and under Antonio Conte he netted 30 goals in consecutive seasons for an Inter team which won the Scudetto.

So I'd say Napoli see him as well worth the money - still only a third of the price Chelsea paid for him this time around and in that league, he won't look old at 31.

I'm not saying trading Osimhen for him is an upgrade because it's likely not, but the move makes sense for this Napoli team in my opinion. I could ask what on earth Chelsea are doing, but I could do that for literally a dozen or more other players in this transfer window for them.

Yeah 100%. Lukaku is a good pro and if you’re looking for an explanation of what went wrong surely it’s got to be the club with a track record of misusing good players rather than the guy who has performed at every other club he’s played for.
