That was maybe the best podium I've ever seen (wasn't alive for Senna in Brazil) and what a win for Charles and Ferrari.

Lando Norris has a problem though...his team mate is capable of outclassing him and did so again today.

For $30m a year. For one designer.

I hope somebody has the time one day to add up how much money Lawrence Stroll has spent on not being able to buy his son a F1 driver's title. I bet he wishes Lance had wanted to grow up to be an office administrator.

I always got the impression that it was more that Laurence is living his F1 driver fantasy through his son. Lance doesn’t always seem particularly happy to be there.

Yeah that was extremely stupid, if Albon gets a penalty now too it's such a cock-up by them. Great effort by Colapinto to be 9th mind.

Norris, what happened there? Doesn't even seem there was a need for him to lift, that's massive especially as Verstappen is only 6th on the grid again.

Incredible race, great entertainment.

I kind of love it when there's a late crash in the leading group. All of a sudden Russell is on the podium having rolled around on his own all day, Williams take 10 points including Colapinto's first ever...and Ollie Bearman takes a point as well. Amazing.

Of course it's partially helped by the crash. But Colapinto vindicates his ascension to F1 by getting 4 very important points, along with the 6 from Albon which helps elevate Williams to the 8th spot in the championship and within something of striking distance of Haas in 7th place.

With the negativity surrounding Williams choosing him (including a very cynical PR blitz/smear (of Williams/Vowles) by Toto Wolff to get Mick Schumacher into the seat), him proving everyone wrong by being right behind Albon hopefully should kill any doubt surrounding replacing Sargeant for him... Doing more in two races than Sarge did in 1.5 seasons goes a long way to up your stock.
