Yeah, I don't think that's a penalty. Yes, there's contact, but Jota keeps going and only goes down when he thinks the ball has gotten away from him. I'm assuming VAR upheld it because the on field decision was penalty and there was contact. But I do not think it's the right decision at all.

If he goes down immediately, it's a penalty and I don't think many could complain too loudly. If he stays on his feet he probably scores barring one of the worst misses of the season. Jota made the worst possible decision available to him, it's like his brain lagged.

tbh i think this is the most reasonable interpretation

Being very charitable to Jota, its not impossible that someone gets clipped and doesn't immediately go down.

And tbf its taken some attention from how bad Newcastle were which im sure they're grateful for :shifty:

I do find the pearl clutching over it a bit silly, players can get injured in the warm up. Get rid of that rule and there'll be whinging over tight offsides again.

I thought NFTs were basically done with?

Also, what is a "Match Day Shirt"? Is there one for every game of the season?

Also also...that is a real stretch of the definition of "ultimate". Four things!

The market has collapsed completely as I understand.

I completely missed this. Arteta's face at the end is classic.

Nothing seems less appealing than spending time in Abu Dhabi in the vincity of Salt Bae.

Hoping that the match doesn't get moved around at all and change my travel plans, but just found out I got selected for tickets for the Liverpool match home to Sheffield United Wednesday April 3rd!!

I am in jubilant disbelief. Can't believe I am going to be going to Anfield.

Hopefully its better than my only experience: a 0-0 draw with West Ham on a Monday night during the brief time Robbie Keane was a liverpool player.
