Having looked around a bit more, they are apparently doing it to their 3rd kits across the board.

Still can't find a reason why though.

So many of the kits nowadays just look naff, I watched the Newcastle game earlier and their away kit had a crap design, crap colours (regardless of Saudi it's just so uninteresting) and when I saw close-ups, it looked quite cheap and poor material. And that's an Adidas kit!

Stoker mentioning nonsense marketing speak reminds me that I haven't posted our third kit which has some real gems.

A vibrant design inspired by the topography of Yorkshire and bold nature of our supporters. 

'Bold' is certainly an interesting way to describe Leeds fans.

It's obviously to reflect the acceleration of the women's game via the power of 3rd shirts.

Just found the Chelsea post and, yep, that does indeed seem to be the stated reason.

ngl, the Sex Pistols style "Blues" label on the inside is pretty great.

Not sure I can pull off a punk-ish look at my age though. 😂

Our third kit would be lovely if it wasn't for the upward tick. 

Still, that and the away kit are a lot better than the home one. Can't wait to move away from Nike after this season

Spurs playing in camouflage is certainly a choice. Can't say I'm a fan of that one.
