Chris2K
Lewis has just essentially called out the FIA for sending them out for those two laps just to make it a race and get it over with, and the fans should get their money back. He's right.
Twist
Even on half points that ‘result’ is massive for Williams. Basically guarantees them 8th place.

He's right. The issue is probably going to be who get to be the ones paying the fans back for the tickets. Management of Spa-Francorchamps sell tickets to the fans, but a very big part of that money goes to FOM for hosting fees of the race. So the track directors can pay it all back, but that'd be put them in a very big financial hole that will be hard to fill. For most F1 tracks that aren't hosted in an oligarchs backyard, the profits from an F1 race are what keeps them afloat throughout the year. So if they were the ones having to pay both F1 AND pay back the tickets, that'll put Spa in dire straits and undoubtedly immediately nix the rebuilding plans they had for this winter (making ER/Rad safer + making it accessible for MotoGP which would be their second big moneymaker if they landed it). So yeah, F1 Management should step up in this case, but whether or not they actually will is a different story. They got their money, they can claim they had a 'proper race' and did their best to hold a race and the weather situation made it impossible to run. 1 hour ago, Twist said: Even on half points that ‘result’ is massive for Williams. And of course a vindication for Williams for getting their first podium since Baku 2017 and regaining light at the end of the tunnel after the financial hell they went through the past years. Chris2K
Kimi is retiring at the end of the season after 21 years, off and on, in the sport. I'm not the biggest fan of his attitude like some others are, but he's always been a hell of a driver. Very similar to what @Slogger said in fact

Chris2K
Canal+ are reporting it will be Albon in Alfa, and Nyck de Vries replacing Russell at Williams. I mean, mud slinging between Horner/Wolff aside, Williams has much more to gain playing nice with Mercedes than they do with Red Bull. Being a sister team to Mercedes is their best way forward for now, and Red Bull can't really offer them anything of value. Even between Albon/NDV, Alex is known (and somewhat damaged) goods, de Vries has won two series in three years so there's more intrigue on whether or not he can translate it in F1 or not (i'm leaning to a hard 'doubt it') Sucks for Alex, but he's also not done himself favours in DTM this year being outraced by Liam Lawson (also a RB Academy driver) who is basically side-hustling DTM in combination with F2.
