Like he's Sami Hyypia at the end of his Liverpool career and needing an extra 15 yards slow. The only first choice players playing in their regular positions are Gini, Salah, Mane and Henderson. Kelleher, Milner, both Williams and Minamino aren't first choice and Fabinho is probably 3rd choice centre back. Rhys Williams is a bit too slow. As are Liverpool across the board. If they amped up the pace it'd help matters. I imagine the young Villa lads will get tired as the game goes and Liverpool will get a few goals. Agreed that I expect Liverpool to score in the second half as they tire out, but the performance has just been so flat. If Klopp was playing a strong side to boost their confidence, it's backfired massively because to go into HT 1-1 is a huge embarrassment if I'm one of the experienced first teamers.
