All of his staff is going. Including Sacramento, which is a shame.

Which is incidentally where Spurs are going to be based in ten years.

Whoever said in the ESL Thread that Levy should sack Jose today to get back some of the Spurs fans' good will just played a Levy style blinder!

Although does Levy still play blinders since he's outed himself as one of the world's greediest cunts?

Outed? I think this was already known!

It'll be hilarious though if Spurs win the League Cup now after Jose's been sacked without winning a trophy, just for him to go off and still say he won it because he got them to the Finals.

us breaking our duck after sacking a specialist winner would be so great

even better if Dele or Bale get the winner

(we'll get thumped 3-0 or whatever but hey)

Like Carra said pre match, they're playing to get a Champions League spot at the moment but in 12 months this game would be meaningless. Why would Liverpool care about the English League when they have the Super League revenue?

I'm not really paying attention to the match. I love the lads on the pitch and Klopp but they're not the enemy in this battle. They're just as much in the lurch as everyone else so I do feel bad on them. The owners though can fuck right off.

Before yesterday I was hoping we could get at least 7pts from the Burnley, Leeds and Liverpool matches to all but seal 2nd place, while confirming our CL participation next season. Now it feels like it doesn't matter.

I think that's probably the worst part for me. There's plenty of examples of the wealthy teams being the enemy, not helping out teams down the pyramid enough etc., but that feels like it's been accepted to an extent. But when you take away the "earning the right" part, it all feels like a waste of time. Like, why should I invest my time and feelings into it all if results simply no longer matter?

I've followed results of other teams and taken an interest in fixtures such as West Ham, Everton, Tottenham, Leicester etc the last few weeks because of the battle for top 4.

Whats the point of sport without merit or losing out on things? I was made up when we got back into the Champions League and I would have been gutted if we missed out this season / ecstatic if we somehow would have finished in the top 4. Now it's like meh if it literally means nothing
