NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have suspended top draft pick Isaiah Wilson for Sunday's game for violating club rules after already declaring the rookie out against the Cleveland Browns.

The Titans announced the move Saturday while elevating linebacker Tuzar Skipper as a COVID-19 replacement and offensive lineman Marshall Newhouse from the practice squad for the game. Both will revert back after the game.

Tennessee didn't specify what Wilson did in placing him on the reserve-suspended list. The No. 29 pick overall out of Georgia, Wilson, an offensive tackle, made his season debut last week, playing three offensive snaps and one on special teams even with the Titans having a pair of tackles on injured reserve.

Wilson has had two stints on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the first at the beginning of training camp.

He had been off the reserve/COVID-19 list for only 12 days in August before Tennessee State University police responded to the smell of marijuana at an off-campus apartment on Aug. 15 and wrote in their report that the player went to the second-floor balcony, where he appeared to briefly consider jumping.

The rookie was arrested in September and charged with drunken driving after he was spotted doing "doughnuts" in an intersection before crashing into a concrete wall.

Wilson was added to the injury report Thursday with an illness that kept him from practicing Thursday or Friday.

We all knew that this was a bad pick at the time.

I love that it’s against the Raiders. That’s...that’s just wonderful. @DMN

Didn't the Jets hammer the Raiders last year as well?

Meanwhile, it looks like the Jags are now going to take Minnesota to overtime. So...

EDIT: nevermind, the Jets have managed to lose.

Those last two plays the Raiders had on offense.  Agholor was flying wide open and they missed.  Then Ruggs the next play.

It was inexplicable defensive playcalling.  I don’t believe that professional football players will ever tank intentionally but it sure looked like the coaches were trying to.

Giants predictably not able to do anything with Colt McCoy.  That said they could be down 5-3 or even up 7-5 if Evan Engram didn’t have yet another critical mistake which forced an INT in the red zone.

Fair play to the Giants defense for keeping it close, but I suspect once it hits a two score deficit that will be all she wrote.

The Seahawks are near-incapable of beating anyone decisively so you might not have to worry about that.
