Adam
If they take the win off Verstappen for that overtake...this "sport" is even more dead in the water than it already was.
Chris2K
The race finished over two hours ago and still nobody knows the results, at least not publicly. Someone on Twitter made a valid point, which is that if this was a football cup final and the winning team had lifted the trophy they probably still wouldn't be evaluating a VAR decision two hours later. They're waiting until they're out of Austria before making a ruling, so they can't be hanged by thousands of angry Dutch and Austrian fans... LUKIE
It was definitely a rough pass, but it wasn't exactly out of line.

Admin Lineker Posted July 3, 2019 Author Admin Report Share Posted July 3, 2019 They've been talking about that idea for years. It'll only ever happen in addition to Silverstone, not instead of.
Katsuya
So there’s a rumour that Vettel is considering retiring at the end of the year for his family, and that somehow Renault agreed to put a clause in to Ricciardo’s contract that he’s allowed to speak to Ferrari or Mercedes without it being a breach of contract. And that, reportedly, he’s looking likely for the Ferrari seat if Vettel does leave. Also; sounds like Merc are giving up on Ocon, and Marko says Gasly has until the summer break to improve (and then it’s probably Kvyat in the car after that)
EddieG
Apparently Max has a similar clause in his deal, if the car doesn't improve greatly before the Hungarian GP, he can move freely.
Admin Lineker Posted July 10, 2019 Author Admin Report Share Posted July 10, 2019 Quote The future of the British Grand Prix has been secured for the next five years with a new agreement between Formula 1 and Silverstone. This weekend's event was due to be the last after Silverstone ended its contract because it was too expensive. But after two years of negotiations, Silverstone and F1 bosses signed a new deal until 2024 in London on Tuesday. F1 chairman Chase Carey described the race at Silverstone as "an integral part" of the future of the sport. Amazing news!
Katsuya
In other news, Rich Energy have pulled out of their sponsorship deal with Haas, because Rich Energy is run by a deranged lunatic and is probably just his bathwater.
Chris2K
This is their statement, I am not even joking. To paraphrase someone involved in this, what a bunch of fucking clowns.

Katsuya
So it gets weirder. Rich Energy investors have fired the crazy CEO, but it seems that he's the one running the Twitter (no surprise) and they can't actually get access to it, and he posted that tweet in retaliation to them firing him. Rich say they are staying with Haas. But there's also rumours they haven't paid Haas, and that also they haven't paid Whyte Bikes the money they owe from the court case, so who knows. Oh, and to figure out what's wrong with the car, Haas have reverted Grosjean's to the spec he used in Australia.
