I played the demo - haven't tried a FIFA since 14 and I really liked the way it felt. Is FIFA 18 a huge step up from FIFA 17 or would I be good to just play 17 on EA Access? Not all that huge on the Ultimate Team stuff, etc.

In theory I like this - even those chests that look like loot boxes because it gives you something week to week to look forward to that isn't just doing the same matches over and over again. Couldn't give a shit about doing online against others though.

I am having so much fun with Super Punch Out right now. I never realized how deep the strategies for that game can go. I bought the anniversary book that came out with the SNES Mini and each game has a speedrunner who details different tactics.. I had no clue the world record for running through everyone in that game is 2 minutes and something.

Dodge on LT, Shoot on RT and lock on X is working for me. Oh and @The Chiksrara Special you get to practice on a simple version of the fights that slow things down a bit and cut out a step to practice for boss fights.

Probably not for a while but it's hard to say. Patching this often on consoles is notoriously hard and I don't know what system they'd use for CAWs. But they want it there asap since Japan doesn't game on PC much.

I might map staying in place and shooting to LT come to think about it... agreed about the dash being on Y. I actually kind of forgot it was there. But I'm with GoGo when it comes to dying a million times. The levels are short enough that when you complete them after knowing everything they're only a couple of minutes... so you are constantly learning and the game is actually showing you how far you get in the levels and boss fights so you can see real progression.

I wish I would've waited and just saw the whole thing at once. There has to be some kind of redemption arch for Michael but just.. intensely, intensely unlikable and nothing to really root for right here at the start so it has kind of killed my enthusiasm right out of get go to watch more of the series where I'll have to wait, etc.

Re; the weapon thing in Zelda. You eventually reach a point where you laugh at ever holding onto weapons - but I can understand the feeling.

Well, you pay $60 for the game and if you want to you pay $30 dollars for that stuff. Or if you're interested in just one of the packs you pay a smaller amount for just that. Assuming that the wrestler packs come out staggered like they have been and are priced as they were, it'll be $7.99 or $9.99 per pack. I'll probably just get the packs on their own when they come out - don't care too much about the accelerator because it kind of takes the fun out of unlocking stuff in the game and the moves don't really matter all that much either - they'll all just get added in next year into the base game.

One of the things that I love to is the whole "I shouldn't go there, but I can" and then once you have enough time into the game you realize that you maybe could've won the fight or solved the puzzle with the knowledge and skills you have now.
