  1. Conor's stuff is well know, but this is a pretty good shout at Khabib's shadiness.
  2. Online play is literally just "here's some of the mini-games, play them in an order without instructions" and it isn't even a full selection of the games, new ones rotate in weekly.

For sure, but I'd have to look if they separate regular reversals from aerial ones - cause I have no issues with others so far.

The prompt stays up a looooong time. I play 2-player against my girlfriend and she's already amazing with the timings for reversals from the start, but most top rope moves leave a window wide open.
  5. Yeah this pretty much sums it up. There are a ton of MMA shows out there that exist and don't allow crap like this to happen just because it's a sport where people punch people.
  6. UFC is trash and did everything possible to foster the environment where this could happen, not exactly shocked.

I did the entirely random rosters - 30 on RAW and 30 on Smackdown then I made a four man stable for each using random. Adam Cole heads up the new Undisputed Era consisting of him and Matt Hardy with the tag team being AJ Styles and Tyler Breeze. Goldust took over the Wyatt Family apparently, renamed it the Golden Family and his underlings are Daniel Bryan with that team's tag being Bray and Jack Gallagher. Living and dying by the rando, man.
  8. Yes, and I got it very early and I am so proud of myself.

There are arenas in Mexico and Japan that you can use outside for sure, Japan even has specific clapping reactions instead of cheering. Yeah it's the frustrating bit every year - because there's other little things that are new like cheer/boo loudness sliders per wrestler, side plates, random colors for quick alt attires, etc that are neat small additions.

Starcade 83 comes to mind, and then anything involved in the DB Showcase like Velocity '03.

I know in the past I've tried to do what I've seen New Legacy do with entirely random draft, randomly assigned champions and then taking people from those shows and making random factions/tag teams which can be really creative but a lot of work.

Only thing I haven't gotten into is Universe yet - this might end up being a purchase for me. I'm trying to think of a fun way to draft rosters.

Had the chance to give this a play from a friend who picked up the deluxe edition - I have to bite my tongue a bit on the gameplay, it isn't just sped up animations it actually does feel entirely different and fluent due to the changes made and there are little things like strikes/running attacks not effecting guys like Braun the way they used to, takes a lot more to get them off their feet. First match I tested with was 8 guys in the ring - and everything ran smoothly with no slow down at any point. I am playing on the One X mind you, but I tried 2K18 on it when I got it and while it was better - there was still slowdown after a while. Also saw some of the Career mode and as hokey as it is, it's a welcome change as well.

I'm hoping some more pleasant surprises come out of this in general - I like that they've talked about going too far in the direction of simulation but at the same time, I feel like the increased speed of their gameplay just looks like sped up animations... which is a god send in and of itself, but if that's all that it is, it's just not enough to make playing the matches fun to me again. And then when they do useless stuff like Big Head mode and Minecraft bodies and say that it's part of bringing it away from simulation again.. I just feel like they miss the point a bit.
  15. Yes yes yes to everything about that.
  16. If it's like Horizon 3, you can just unlock new radio stations every once in a while.
  17. Thrillhauus would be mine - I only played a bit last night, so I don't know much about the structure. I traded up to a One X recently and so I had the chance to play it at 60 frames, so nice.
  18. Weekly, and that's after you get through the initial story. It takes you through all the seasons first before dropping you in live. I think it's different enough to be worth it for sure.
  19. Horizon 4 is amazing- they just get it when it comes to racing games.
  20. First person in this is going to be amazing, I'm so hyped for this it isn't even funny - they've added so much.
  21. Marvel Unlimited might be worth looking into - if only for a cheaper way to look into the comics to see if they're for you (since books are expensive as shit) and you get curated lists that go by character or by storyline, etc.
  22. You can click on their name and go to their profile and see their creations - but no way to search them persay which kinda sucks.
  23. I tried it with a friend, we did a 2-man vessel and it.. didn't really go all that well. When we were playing together and discovering the game (because it certainly doesn't do all that well at telling you how to play it) it was amazing, and a great experience. Our first run in with other players.. entirely less so. All they did was fuck with us, and even when we killed them (which was rare, due to their equipment versus our starter set) they'd just respawn on their boat which was close to ours. The whole experience kind of put me off the game - I get that it's part of it, but there just doesn't seem to be enough of a system to fight back with when you're just starting out. If we can't do simple delivery missions without getting fucked over - how are we ever going to get enough money to upgrade our gear? Etc.

    South Park

They had that hash tag embedded at the end of the episode itself on the credits, so it's something they did.
