Yeah, that just essentially makes it two people playing locally with little to no stakes, so that's fine. When you make a part of the game specifically about winning however - it's going to be rare to find a situation that isn't totally frustrating.

I highly, highly doubt there will be. As neat as it looks - it's a nostalgia thing and there's no plans for anything like that on their site. I wouldn't expect much out of the CHIKARA game either with the studio making that games history.

Yeah, boot camp is just literally a copy of Windows on your Mac. The only thing that sucks is that you have to create a partition and then it's hard to make it bigger without fully uninstalling Windows, and Windows itself takes up a good chunk of that. I keep it on there however to play Fire Pro and EWR.

I just run Bootcamp with the free version of Windows 10 that they offer. You get a watermark in the bottom right corner, but you can remove it for periods of time and it works just fine otherwise.

I'm back into playing it and I feel like I have to buy all the DLC because the friggin' best edits now come with it as a prerequisite sometimes.

Doom 1, 2 and 3 showed up as surprise releases - coming out today and at a relatively low price. They come with all expansions and are low priced... I believe they were up at 4-5 pounds for the first two and 8 pounds for Doom 3... though the listings went down pretty fast. Everyone assumes it was meant to be announced a bit later today at QuakeCon. EDIT: They're up! 6.49 CAD for the first two and 12.99 CAD for Doom 3!

I switched to pretty much only playing mine undocked when I found a case for it that made the Switch really comfortable to hold. Even then though, I rarely run out of battery in my play sessions because it just goes back to the dock afterwards.

Quite well in my experience. It has the benefit of essentially being the iPad version so it's optimized for worse hardware from the start.

Online play in the WWE games and wrestling games in general is quite broken, however. When the goal is to just win the are too many problems with making that work out, and the more competitive it gets the worse it will get. With stuff like limited reversals, not bring able to get back into the ring without disadvantage, spam moves, etc. It just isn't feasible to have a true competitive experience.

They confirmed that the Switch version of Civ6 is going to get the expansions - hopefully this year. 😊

I'm swamped with other stuff so I'm still on the farm island - but I'm spending most of my time prettying it up instead of questing to be honest.

It was in a leaked document, but that document also said the game was going to be announced on June 24th. I wouldn't put too much into it - if anything I'm hoping it means that they are confirming features and moving things to where they need to go. Their frankness when it comes to talking about what needs to change as well is nice, so... here's hoping for something more. Plus to hear more about that whole HCTP tweet and stuff.

It has been a long week, I am very excited to play this all weekend between G1 matches.

I still think that it's probably best to get the regular Switch if you don't have one yet, but as an option for a second one or for a kid it's really nice.

I'm very excited for it. We needed a second Switch to both play Pokemon anyways. Love the form factor and features like the d-pad Anything they removed I don't care about really Even without the current Switch I have, I think it's pretty tempting especially since the Switch is essentially Nintendo's only console now and a good number of users never dock anyways.
