  1. The rumor is that an enhanced Mass Effect trilogy is going to come along soon either way.
  2. I used to love GOG for that one reason - and then it turned into a situation where games get updates on GOG months after they get Steam updates at times, so if it's a game that's in active development... good luck.
  3. I actually have some great ideas for that! I have a premium account on Board Game Arena so I can start/host any of the game types on there! I would recommend playing Incan Gold, 6 Nimmit, Can't Stop, For Sale, Sushi Go, Red 7 or other simple games along those lines. I find this a bit better in some cases than Tabletopia (which I also have an account at) because it's just web versions of games... not a drag and drop sandbox so it's easier to learn the games and enforce rules.
  4. Fuck movie theatres at this point, couldn't pay me to go to one around here before this anyways with the way they treat their workers in shitty circumstances/weather.

    The Sims

We picked up a lot of The Sims 4 (at least all the expansions that have mechanics that interest us) but I'm kind of in a rut. I just do the same thing - I turn off aging because I hate the idea of my "hard work" going away, and then I just generally... make my Sim a painter so I never lose control of them or have to deal with a career tract, build a really nice home (when I kind of want to slum it or do the small house thing) and just go 'meh' with it for a while. I kind of want to actually bother with generations and all that fun stuff instead of... just making me and giving me a perfect life. 😛
  6. We love them, probably have some more than those in ones too. Best size is 2-4 and everyone should be engaged. We did five players once and two people were not into it and the discussion on the puzzles wasn’t great. Have done a lot of them two player but I think 3 is the sweet spot. The Adventure series they have is great too! Plays like Myst or another old styled adventure/puzzle game come to life.
  7. Disco Elysium is on sale and on Mac now apparently so I just bought that on a whim. So uhhh. Yeah. About ten minutes of this game pretty much tells me that I'm probably in the 'refund' bin on that one. It has the personality of a moody teenager who just got into philosophy.
  8. To be fair, I have a general rule of buying now and I think I have it pretty down pat. I tend to only have a few things of each category or type of board game - with a few prolific ones breaking the mold. A lot of them are expansions or things along those lines and then from there if I haven't touched something in a while I usually put it up for sale for a fair price to put towards... checking out something else. https://boardgamegeek.com/user/Thrillhauus This is my account, I'm trying to update it to include stuff that I previously owned and sold, etc.
  9. It's pretty top notch, played it the last two nights. It's pretty easy to play through if you just want to beat it - but the challenges within are going to make it hard to do 100% if you want to get more out of the game. It's pretty funny too, big fan of the whole vibe of the game.
  10. Exactly. I welcome this a million times over, because going to the theatre isn't just the price of one ticket for many households. And I fucking hate movie theatres.
  11. Remember how I was kind of getting into this hobby when I was posting here last? Yeah it got of got away on me. As of my last count I'm on well over a hundred games.
  12. Thanks! It's always evolving and I have like a week of ideas planned out - I should actually be further than I am, but I pretty much have to spend 50,000 per day to move something and then every other day - 98,000 to build a new incline or bridge.
  13. I'll put down a blue and orange you can dig up and take as well.
  14. No problem! I'll probably open my gates now so just stop by whenever.
  15. @RPSI have red, white and yellow and I'll be good around then if you're interested.
  16. Perfect timing, was just about to dip into a board game with the girlfriend. Thanks for having me over, and enjoy the bidet! It looks like I'm going to have a wildly fluctuating turnip week so I'll let anyone know if it gets high.
  17. Ohh yes! I might have to get friend codes and what not. I'm SW-3939-4110-0323
  18. Oh my lord, this is... quite tempting. I moved my ring to outside but I'll be getting the basement soon....
  19. Well, I had hope in this for a while. Happy that it's not the same development team that will be looking into 2K22 or whatever though. Doing it this year is the right call regardless because of the console generation jump, hopefully they end up able to use the time well. I never really had many problems with 2K20 either, though it clearly needs a revamp at this point.
  20. Mine are selling for 90 and of course I always, always go into Sunday with as little money as possible. Frantically running around doing all my stuff to get 'em taken care of.
  21. It's not 100% as alarming as it sounds - this is only coming from a guy in the Steam reviews sections, and other people analyzing what he's saying are pointing out that he doesn't seem to know what he's talking about - and any connections that are being made are more than likely the same kind of analytics and demographics stuff that pretty much every games in the last 12 years has been doing anyways. Creating a shortcut of the .exe will let you get around some of the stuff if need be;
  22. Some are games, some are collections of cinematics. The first collection is four games and 2 cinematics I believe and then there’s 2.8 which is one game, one cinematic and a mini-prologue to KH3. I’m going through everything right now and honestly good memories and all, KH1 is kind of a slog that feels mildly dated to me (just missing a lot of modern helper/QoL stuff) but the collections themselves are great value because they all have a different feel.
  23. Original run was 2013-2014 but they brought it back for Spider-Geddon.
  24. I would say that COD is VERY heavy handed. Like that's one of the things that I would say most about it, especially the most recent one. It's less about the message and more about the way that it's handled ("GEEZ THESE GUYS SURE ARE BAD, HUH?") but I think a part of that in Outer World is an attempt at humor that didn't really ring with me. @Ruki It's hard to say thinking back - you have another big portion to go and then the ending portion. I kind of sped through the next one and I don't even know what my options were there besides the thing that I did (went very, very anti-Board) and from there. There were two whole moon/planets/whatevers that I didn't even see and don't know how I would, I find that interesting.
