I've seen some people take this game VERY seriously and I just can't fathom that. Also I'm in for later if I get caught at the right time.

I think it's a fair way to go about it - if you play regularly but don't win you could at least have one of the top level costumes at least ONCE a season. It's not like the game is ever going to be a very serious e-sport so just have fun with it.

I like the suggestion that people are making of silver crowns if you get to the final that trade up at a 1/10 rate for regular crowns.

Just get used to the games coming out at a different time and you're set!

Discord should be fine for the phone, yeah - it's generally designed for ease of communication while gaming so that's why I figured it'd be a better call than Skype.

Doing it through Discord would likely be easiest. Not very long at all.

I'm about 4 hours behind all the UK guys. I am free entirely for the most part on Friday-Sunday, and in the evenings from 4-7 or so I'm usually watching Ollie's Twitch and moderating it - but I could run both at the same time even if he's not involved. I know we're looking at doing some Among Us on a community stream as some point as well.

I saw that earlier today and it blows me away. Monster Hunter World and Sekiro just getting upped to 60 frames without any additional work needed to them? I am all the way fucking in.

The two are co-op games but there's a mountain of complexity between them. Spirit Island takes a bit to learn, and I like complex games but I kind of just said "eh" in the end when the Steam version came out and decided to sell my physical copy and play it there instead. Great game, but keeping track of everything and trying to remember your powers and making sure you're doing everything right was kind of a chore for me. Horrified on the other hand was a pretty straightforward and breezy playing game that had some great variety. It's MORE similar to Pandemic - but at the same time, there are multiple new mechanics and imagine Pandemic if each virus acted WILDLY different from any of the others.

We talked about it a bit back, yeah. I think it does Pandemic better than any version of Pandemic I've had.

I think there's talk that games sizes might even be able to go down in this generation, but we'll see how that shakes out I guess.
