    How did you manage getting a refund after that long of a period of time?

    I wasn't able to get on last night - damn update started out slow, went quickly to 80 percent and then started going really slow again. The weighting on the percentages was messed up and made me think there was hope. It installed over night though so now I just have to sit through work and try to decide what I want my character to be.

    The "be able to take one hit" sign was a huge help to me as well for tougher fights.

    If I get it, I'll be on the One. Hearing issues about connectivity this morning though... depending on what it sounds like by the time I leave work I may be picking it up this evening.

    I'm still on the fence about this, but lord knows I'll end up picking it up sooner or later. Not all that happy about that 16GB update though, that means I won't be playing tonight if I get it most likely.

    I've only ever seen the budget Thrustmaster ones although I know they make more expensive ones.

    I don't think we've discussed this yet, but I heard on the Funhaus podcast that went up last night or so that there was a rumor that the Troy Baker sounding voice and character at the end is going to be the stock character - and you won't be able to change look/gender until later in the game when those options open up. What would people think of that?

    The Sims will never land there, that's all over Origin and even EA isn't selling The Sims 2 anymore - they gave it away for free a while ago before it happened. Age Of Empires is a toss up. Likely not since they were pushing the Remaster of Age Of Empires II on Steam and have show little interest in anything since, but it being a Microsoft asset you'll never know where it might end up. They're constantly adding stuff both new and old now.

    Yes, it has extra shoulder buttons and upgrades to stuff like the processor, etc.

    Spotify lets you add songs to a Library that you can then shuffle. Or you can make a playlist and do it. Or shuffle by artists, genre, etc. It's pretty versatile and it tracks what you listen to like last.fm to give you suggestions. Plus you can access other user's curated playlists. Play Music.. I'm not even going to be bothering much with this trial. The interface is such ass. On my laptop everything is so fucking HUGE that it's cumbersome to get through and on the phone it takes fifty screens to do a single thing I wanna do. That combined with the relatively large size of the music file downloads compared to Spotify and no. Not worth it.

    Thanks for the Smite code. Massive Chalice is really overwhelming right now, but it's going to satisfy the XCOM nerd inside, me-thinks.

    As a Viking you CAN reform the pagan religions of old and get a proper line going. Only managed it once but so, so worth it.

    I have played nothing but Vikings since it came out because it's the best damn thing that you can do with Crusader Kings II - so many more play styles are viable. Not to mention that pagans don't need to deal with no popes.

    For money reasons I have to take a month off Spotify and do a free 30 days of Play Music All Access again. Still kind of archaic with no way to download specific songs or just all of them at once, but hey... at least it has The Rock's version of Wild Ones.

    Link Between Worlds is a great way to get started on the series. People always seem to suggest the 3D titles but I could see people getting a bit overwhelmed with those at first, Link Between Worlds is a great jumping off point - especially since it feels so close to the original.

    There's no way they'll do it, but it would be nice. I just hide them from my library.

    Did anyone else play the Ceaser/Pharaoh/Zeus series of games? My grandmother played them and I was so happy when they popped up on GOG years back because I absolutely loved these games. You laid down houses and all the services needed but when it came to monuments your.. erm.. workers would actually build it piece by piece. You also couldn't directly control your military and the games had a closer interface that felt more personal than Sim City. I liked the interesting deity systems as well.

    Eh, there are always going to be bugs in releases of this size and scale.
