  1. Okay, I've seen "Heroes" and NBC are officially TV's best network. Earl, The Office, Studio 60, Heroes + Scrubs, Raines, The Singles Table and The Black Donnellys at midseason = greatness.
  2. I haven't heard Food and Liquor yet, but Kick Push is fucking brilliant, so this can only be considered a big disappointment.
  3. Jackass Number Two - 8/10 Wow. They seriously raised the bar with the stunts this time around, and it's awesome. The first 10 minutes or so are about the funniest thing I've seen in a theatre in years. Definitely recommended.
  4. I preferred her before she hoed up. Her new stuff isn't unbearable, but the first album was clearly her best.
  5. It's only fair. Because of Pamela Anderson we haven't broke even since Barb Wire was released.
  6. Wow, if I'd have watched all of "Help Me Help You" last night I might have needed therapy by the end. ABC's schedule is pretty much shit. You've got "Six Degrees", a show that's literally about people walking around New York and bumping into each other, "Men with Trees", which is "A Minute With Stan Hooper" without the laughs, "Ugly Betty", which looks like a Hilary Duff movie come to the small screen, "Brothers & Sisters", which is so far up its own ass that it can't see straight, and "The Nine". That one's actually pretty good. Still though, what an awful new class.

    Brotherhood

I dunno, did they actually confirm he's dead though? He's unconscious, bleeding profusely but people on TV have certainly had stranger survivals.
  8. Brotherhood - Matthew 22:10 - 9/10 Awesome.

Okay that was fucking awesome. Even the daughter on this show is bad ass. Giggs snapping on Michael, Tommy threatening Freddi, all great. Season two is going to be legendary.
  10. NBC's big risks are already starting to pay off. They beat CBS last night. Just so the significance of that sinks in, let me repeat it, NBC BEAT CBS' MONDAY SCHEDULE. When does that ever happen? This is the night that used to house Raymond, for Chrissakes.
  11. The second episode definitely kicked ass, and led me to assume that this show probably will end up the best new series this year. As awesome as The Black Donnellys' pilot was, I don't see them following it up with this much awesomeness.
  12. The other day I was going into The Last Kiss in awe of how awesome the cast was: Zach Braff, Jacinda Barett, Tom Wilkinson, Blythe Danner Casey Affleck etc. Just goes to show that an ensemble doesn't necessarily make a gem out of a turd.
  13. There is no actor worse than Chris Klein. Suggesting otherwise will just get his hopes up.
  14. John Mayer - Continuum Great fucking record. I liked "Heavier Things" but even I had a hard time arguing for it as a start-to-finish entity. This one's a really solid fusion of his radio friendly pop with his more recent blues/funk inflences and almost certainly his best effort yet. I think this'll end up being one of my favorite albums of the year.
  15. Technically that makes him a part of the only noteworthy part of last season.
  16. Both. She's the star and main writer on it. As for the show, it seemed like they were headed for a radical change. Too bad the big problem with this is that Seth Meyers is still head writer after last season. The writing staff is really what needed shaking up and it appears there isn't much that did get shaken up after all.
  17. Cutting half of Lazy Sunday is retarded. That'd be like cutting Ferrell and Kattan at the height of the Roxbury Guys. Or Norm at the height of his WU era. Oh wait... SNL is garbage now.
  18. It's because, despite their efforts, Victor Garber isn't a bad ass. Nobody who does his best work on the stage can be a badass. >_>
  19. Bon Cop, Bad Cop - 8/10 Best mainstream Canadian film since Men With Brooms. It's a satire on hockey, bilingualism, North American trade and action movies that is consistently funny and never dull. Plenty of potshots at noted Canadians (and one small, big nosed American who may or may not be ruining hockey) and funny one line commentaries on our French/English society make this a huge success. Great flick, with something for everyone. Well, everyone living north of the 49th parallel.
