  1. Funniest Pre-Nup Ever: * K-Fed won't touch a penny of Britney's money. All the millions belonging to Britney will stay that way. * The mansion will be divided 50/50. * Any gift given worth over $10,000 will go back to the original purchaser. This includes a custom-built motorcycle Brit gave K-Fed for Christmas 2 years ago. * She will still support him for a little while longer. Brit will pay Kevin $30,000 a month for the period of time that is half the length of their marriage. Meaning he'll be well sneakered until at least a year from now. * Spears won't pay child support. Federline is still responsible for supporting his other two children with previous baby momma Shar Jackson. Luckily, Britney should be able to put food on the table for at least another 200,000 more years. Source EDIT: And, like always, his will be the least funny at the end of it all.
  2. More great stuff this week. I like all the characters gradually becoming closer and seeing their powers teased in front of each others eyes. Pasdan getting more ruthless = also badass. Only problem was the lack of evil glasses guy, because he's ridiculously awesome.
  3. The Game actually leaked the album himself, but only the clean version, with the assumption that if people dug it they'd buy the album. Judging from most of the reaction here, I'd say that was a bad plan.
  4. That was an assumption on my part. They may be longer, and I suppose it all comes down to the editing process which, since the whole thing isn't completely shot yet, has probably yet to begin.
  5. Got an issue with Ireland's tax issues, take them up with Ireland. He neither bends nor breaks any laws, and although I can't stand the various loopholes given to corporations and the wealthy with regards to paying their taxes, it's an issue for governments to deal with. And hey, if these countries aren't willing to take the next step and make any positive steps towards fighting poverty in Africa, why shouldn't Bono have more of his own money to reinvest into pro-active programs?
  6. The Singles Table got its episode order trimmed from 13 to 6 episodes today. Everytime Kevin Reilly comes close to being a deity, shit like this happens and makes him merely an awesome mortal again.
  7. are you expecting the interviewer or peter jenner to read this?
  8. We can all be very principled... and poor... and without the means to do anything for anyone. There's nothing wrong with working with corporations, if one is using those corporations to do good. And if an exclusivety deal with the biggest provider of digital music in the world is necessary, then so be it. As for these bands "spending all (their) money on sunglasses and music videos", is there any indication that it was actually the bands that forked over their money to finance the video? Could have easily been the record label. And really, who suggests that these people aren't spending any of their own money in giving to charities? I'm certain they're more than pulling their weight in that right. They're just probably not calling a press conference to announce it like some celebrities.
  9. You actually think that music will cease to be if major record labels die? That's just naive at the most ridiculous levels.
  10. ROC is reading this and masturbating as we speak.
  11. actually, for this week it's a death time slot up against Lost and Criminal Minds, both of which dominate at that hour. However in two weeks time, when Lost begins it's epic hiatus, Fox might do well to try moving the show to this timeslot. It has a whole different audience base than CM, and it might actually work.
  12. Okay, so after the ratings disaster that was last Thursday, FOX has pulled "Happy Hour", as well as Wednesday's ratings disaster "The Rich List". As a result, there will be two new episodes of "The O.C." this week, with one airing Wednesday at 9 and the other Thursdays at 9. At least "Bones" is a somewhat capable lead in, and an easier timeslot. The ratings Thursday however should probably be down, with nothing new in the lead in spot and only a rerun of "'Til Death". I'm hoping that this special Wednesday airing might be a sign of the network being willing to give the show another timeslot, because any FOX show outside of 24, House or American Idol is going to be dead on arrival on Thursdays. Unless they've got the balls to send one of those shows into the slot, they should probably just air a movie or something.

  15. One guy donating his entire fortune doesn't go as far as that guy spending money on projects that properly raise consensus on important issues, or specifically in this case, benefit a Hurricane Katrina charity. You can argue about just how effective a corny music video is, but I don't doubt that the attempt to help is quite genuine. Well, at least with Bono it is. I'm all for some well placed rich-bashing, but I'm not going to extend that to people who are at least trying to help.
  16. Why the hell would The Weinsteins have them take down a video that promoted one of their films? It's literally turning down free advertisement. >_>
  17. Wow, I didn't really listen to much of Sam Roberts - "Chemical City" when it came out, but wow, it is an AWESOME record. Every single track is quality, and it's such a technical step forward for him that it's hard to fathom.
  18. The song isn't offensive or anything, but I hate when people drudge up old songs to represent new causes. I tend to wonder how inspired someone was to act on a particular issue if they have to resort to the work of others in their own field to get their point across.

    The Borat Movie

I'd say the hooker must have been staged. Obviously the stuff in "Kazakhstan" (actually Romania) was written. Your guess is as good as mine for the rest.
