  1. Greatest custom title ever. :D

  2. It was good. I agree with TGC that we need more Sara. To be honest, only Mahone and the main storyline really interested me. T-Bag's shit only works if he's gonna get killed really soon, C-Note's story has no logical endpoint so one assumes he gets caught, and Bellick as a victim hasn't worked since he nearly killed himself. It was better than Heroes though, so that's a start.
  3. Van Halen's "Eruption" for the combination of relevance, guitar wankery and the fact that it leads into an awesome song.
  4. The ratings are in... 8.6 in households, 5.4 in adults 18-49. That puts it slightly up from its 2006 pace in households (8.4), but off a bit in 18-49 (5.8). The loss in 18-49 would almost certainly be due to the return of "Heroes", but looking at the households number it's good to see that neither really hurt each other as "Heroes" managed to tie 24 in households and be the number one show in 18-49 (6.5). "24", by the way, was 3rd in 18-49 and tied for 4th in households with "Heroes". Great news.
  5. It took me most of the episode to get into it at all. The return after what Ringo says is a week storyline-wise was awkward at first, but the ending set the coming episodes up nicely.
  6. I like that the show isn't so cut and dry about its morality this year. Because you can make legitimate arguments on boths sides of most of the issues, and last year it was just all "whatever Jack Bauer says is right", but this year even he doesn't know. This episode wasn't as good as the last one, but I liked that they're actually seemingly going places they haven't gone before.
  7. But isn't Fall Out Boy exactly the same? Only with catchier hooks and a bigger sound? I like Bowling For Soup, but it's not like they're the big anti-thesis to that dour emo/pop-punk. The video where they had Slipknot beat down Fred Durst was awesome though.
  8. It's now been confirmed by the official website: RATM.com If nothing else, maybe we'll see Tom doing collabos with Zack for his solo record. I'll accept that. Hell I'll take anything Rage related I can get. It's why I stuck around for two meh albums before Audioslave got good. >_>
  9. I thought last night's episode was thoroughly meh. Nothing offensive on it, but nothing particularly memorable. Most of it seemed to be just setting up the next two episodes, so I expect them to be better.
  10. This Film Is Not Yet Rated - 6/10 Laudable for the director's achievements in going where others have tried and failed, as well as the attempt to bring some of the information on a corrupt system to light. Still, it often comes off as sanctimonious, lopsided and inconsistent. It's slightly above average infotainment that is made worthy by the gravity of its subject.
  11. Dirt - Pilot - 4/10 Bland, pretentious, self-pitying and boring. Courtney Cox is weak and the stuff with Don is just weird. I might have to watch through the Carly Pope episodes though.
  12. This is awesome news, if only for the possibility to lead to something else. Of course we said that about A Tribe Called Quest reforming...
  13. Last year I lost a lot of interest in Prison Break around this time because attached to 24, it comes off as being a whole lot less intense. However this season had a killer first half conclusion, so I'm curious to see how it holds up.
  14. "King Of the Stereo", "One More Chance", "Starting Over" and "Black Sheep" are all awesome. Everything else except for "Twister" is good. If "Twister" could cease to exist it would be on a level with Every Six Seconds, but I'm just happy it's this good . Probably 2nd behind ESS and ahead of Back Into Your System, although I haven't heard their original album yet.
