  1. Wow, an actual semi final! And in other good news, the Christmas dance routine is coming along nicely.
  2. Well that's as disgusting as it is unsurprising.
  3. There's always the HWAs in Formula 2. They even have magenta parts for extra pinkness.
  4. McLaren F1 Team (Mercedes) #3 Daniel Ricciardo #4 Lando Norris This makes me happy. Not the drivers, or the team, but two simultaneous numbers in the same team? Heaven.
  5. I knew 11-0 was too good to last, but I didn't expect it to be this bad so soon afterwards. First round play-off exit is all but confirmed methinks. Sad to hear about Kevin Greene, he was before my time but from what I've seen he was a true phenom on the field.
  6. Just finished Bugsnax, spoilered below because you should play this game if you like a good story.
  7. Very happy for Lewis, very well deserved. A double in people-I-voted-for-winning-BBC-competitions after Bill Bailey winning Strictly . Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, but based on tonight Alex Scott is being rushed into live presenting way before she's ready.
  8. Watford have sacked their manager, again. He was there for so little time I didn't bother learning his name. Their last 11 games are 5 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses. They're fifth in the Championship. Sacked. Nobody should want or even consider applying for that job.
  9. Gotta love the Indian team getting absolutely humbled. Their lowest test score ever and the lowest score since 1953 in test cricket.
  10. Really glad for Sergio, kicked out of one team and signed to a better one, and it's fully deserved. It'll be interesting to see if this is only a year as expected, or if he does enough to carry on further.
  11. Khabib Nurmagomedov wins the World Sports Star of the Year award. I mean... it's nice for MMA to get some representation, but ahead of LeBron seems bizarre. It was a public vote and the Russian guy won which are two facts I'm stating with no insinuation intended.

I only recognise Lee Mack so... yup. Thankfully I love Lee Mack and think this will suit him perfectly. As for the series 10 finale:
  13. Tsunoda confirmed for Alpha Tauri with Gasly, meaning we will have the first driver born in the 21st century on the grid next year. Yeah, we're old, aren't we? Also, this is lovely:
  14. I'm really pleased that Giannis made that decision, but it's entirely possible... Player power is very much the big factor now, Paul George showed that last year with his trade demand, and that one move basically catapulted the Thunder in to a multi-year rebuild. I'm all for players having more control over their careers, but I fear it's going to come at the cost of interest in the league when there's only 3-4 teams with genuine superstars and 26 teams making up the numbers.
  15. And yesterday EA swooped in with a $1.2 billion bid to buy them, and the bidding war isn't over yet apparently. As much as I like the Dirt games and this year's F1 game was excellent, I don't quite understand the money being spent on them. That said, I look forward to F1 Ultimate Team where you have to find four separate cards to get the four wheels.
  16. You can always rely on Yas Marina to end the season with a meh.
  17. Max on pole, pit straight at Silverstone now known as the Hamilton straight, but the only thing anyone seems to be talking about is Fernando driving the Renault R25 around after qualifying, particularly how loud the engine is and how everyone misses the noise.
  18. I was going to comment on how Bale was adding nothing, until he unleashed the free kick from the Gods. Take lead, send on Kane and Son. Seems legit.
  19. Hamilton given all clear to race, George back to Williams. (Boooo)
  20. It was whatever this is! I now realise that's not the Williams factory by the way.
  21. Bottas has since posted a random image of the Williams factory saying he went there today on a bike ride, so I think the troll job is very much on. Meanwhile Lewis is saying he's fit for Abu Dhabi, and the Williams team have put Russell's name and number up above their garage (although they probably would have done that for Sahkir too).
  22. Perhaps Vince McMahon has told them they can't have any mention of their employer's name on their social media? But yeah that is certainly an interesting development. These things rarely happen by coincidence.
  23. And yet they'd rather go to Saudi than back to Malaysia which created a fun race every time. Particularly when the sky poured an ocean of water on the track, as it seemed to do a lot.
  24. Some random trivia found on Reddit, who by the way do not share our dismissive opinion of Lance. Checo went from being the driver with the second largest number of races without a win to top of the list of drivers with the most races before their win (60 more than 2nd placed Mark Webber). Taking third spot in the highest number without a win is... Hulk! A podium finish at last. The last time a podium didn't contain a driver from Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari or McLaren was Malaysia 2009 (Button (Brawn), Heidfeld (BMW Sauber) and Glock (Toyota). Checo is the first driver to be last at the end of the first lap to win an F1 race. 13 out of the 20 drivers who started the season have been on the podium this year (Kyvat, Grosjean, Magnussen, Russell, Latifi, Raikkonen and Giovanazzi haven't). The top 7 teams in the Constuctors championship all have over 100 points, Alfa Romeo in 8th have... 8.
