Regarding Kano:

I enjoyed it, mainly because they went all-out with game references, but I'm seeing a lot of disappointment and negative reviews elsewhere. As far as specifics:

I thought the biggest revelation of the episode was going to be Jamali's reveal that he's been bluffing the whole time and is actually a big Taskmaster fan. And then Mike happened.

I'm not entirely sure how to feel, but I'm happy for Mason and the players.

I've just speed read the last 35 replies and have done nothing but laugh at how it all panned out. This whole thing has turned out to be both utterly callous and hilarious, whilst in turn providing all football fans with the knowledge that, when put against a wall, we all want the same thing and will band together to fight injustice. And that's pretty cool.

I got Watch Dogs Legion now it's (naturally) half price, and I'm really enjoying it. Granted, I've barely even acknowledged the story and am just recruiting as many different people as possible and getting collectables, but I find that fun. I have permadeath switched on and have lost two recruits so far, one got overwhelmed by drones and the other had a random immediate death trait which kicked in two minutes in to their first mission. Since then I've seen "friend of former DedSec operative [first person that died]" around the world and feel bad because they died in my control.

I had a similar idea to this when I was 12 playing Champ Manager 97/98, before realising it was a logistical nightmare trying to get it to work through the editor, then realised it wouldn't work in real life either. Evidently I could never be the owner of a football club with such little perseverence. I'm disappointed but not surprised that Spurs have signed up, it's the sort of thing that makes us feel like we're a top club despite not actually winning anything. Let's just hope this all dies down soon enough, the whole concept of the best teams in Europe being in a league but not having Bayern, PSG or Dortmund is insane in itself. I really tried to get on board with The Hundred, I've been crying out for a franchise Twenty20 league in England, but changing the rules of the game is too much for me. Last week they decided to replace the term "wickets" with "outs" because the terminology is often used for the stumps as well and it might confuse newcomers to the sport. I've no idea how they do it, but once again the studio task game proves to be an unmissable contest of tension and intrigue.

I completed it on a handhold console and got it on the Switch, didn't complete the Switch version though or get very far through it. I don't think it has aged too well as a concept, it's still fun, but it's hard to compare it to a juggernaut like Sword/Shield. Speaking of Sword, I've just got back into it, 231 hours of levelling up every Pokémon I can find, including ones I've shipped in from Go, and I finally have 8 gym badges.

Speaking of "picking his way through the field", Mazepin overtook both Ocon and Vettel during their outlap before he spun at the first corner and ruined their hot laps. He appears to be as good a driver as he is a person.

Easy to say in hindsight, but Red Bull and Alpha Tauri got way over-confident with their choice to go on the mediums in Q2. Feel sorry for Tsunoda who was mighty in Q1.
