Jorginho in the Euros is what also stood out for me, given that I was expecting a guaranteed success for him which worked out against Belgium, and not so much against England. Having him take one early on would have likely calmed a few nerves. Then you look at Harry Kane who's pretty much standing by the penalty spot before the coin has hit the ground.

I'll never understand the trend of having your best players take the fifth penalty, and it feels like something Ronaldo started (I at least remember him not getting to take one because Portugal had missed three already). Salah's in that position tonight, I just don't know why you wouldn't want your best players taking first to get goals on the board.

Perhaps I'm basing this too much on emotions to be impartial, but getting out on bail shouldn't be this easy for someone who has been charged with threatening to kill somebody.

Simmons has got engaged to Maya Jama in the last month, so he's definitely got some intelligence somewhere. What baffles me is that he hasn't really done anything in the last few years, particularly in the last series he played, to make him a huge trade commodity, and this season's antics must be driving teams away even further.

It's taken Niantic having to make Litleo the focus point of their Pokémon Go Lunar New Year event to make me realise that somehow, despite there being 898 of them, there is no Pokémon based on a tiger. Also Pokémon Arceus is a... different game. I'm struggling to get too invested in it as it feels like a game that needs to be played on a TV rather than handheld, so it's limiting my time with it. EDIT: Apparently it's 905 with the Hisui evolutions. Still no tigers.
