  1. I always liked Johnny as a driver and as a personality, but I think the time has probably come where his punditry isn't going to be missed. I wonder if these empty spaces will be filled by a more-active Nico Rosberg now he's no longer banned from the paddock, but I'm more hoping a certain more-recently retired German world champion might try his hand in front of the camera...
  2. Can't give a release date for Forza, but I'm sure glad I now know about the concept of paint flaking and dirt build-up.
  3. Hitman's new Freelancer mode is due to go live tomorrow, I've been following this intently yet somehow they snuck the announcement in a press release that I didn't see until last night. I'm very much looking forward to it, even if I feel it's going to be very difficult. Details
  4. Babyface? Sounds like a good guy.
  5. To seemingly continue the trend of the better superhero video games struggling to get high sales numbers (see Guardians of the Galaxy), Midnight Suns was only the 14th highest-selling game on PS5 in December in the US, behind even Spider-Man Miles Morales which came out in 2020, and not even in the top 20 for Europe. Meanwhile, Gotham Knights, whilst not "bad", doesn't have anywhere near the same level of critical acclaim, is still selling far more. Granted I haven't bought Midnight Suns yet, so I'm not exactly helping.
  6. I have a soft spot for Monk. The writing, humour and the mysteries themselves are all spot on, and Tony Shalhoub knocks everything out of the park. Plus the theme tune is tremendous. My only complaint with it is that I bought all the seasons on DVD, only for them to appear as part of Prime Video three weeks later.
  7. Always baffles me that they let a team wear all white on a snow game. Not that it seems to be bothering the Bengals, down the field in 3 minutes..
  8. I'm the same, I just took a look at the current champions and the only ones I recognise are Amanda Nunes and Leon Edwards, but Edwards only because he's British and got some publicity here. I want to get back into it but the combination of the over-saturation of events and the increased difficulty of watching it makes it hard to warrant the necessary time it would take to get up to speed.
  9. Power Wash Simulator comes to PS4, PS5 and Switch this month, and throws some free Tomb Raider-related DLC in for everyone too. Just hook it to my veins.
  10. Jesus Christ Hugo. I've been a big supporter for a long time, but my patience is wearing thin.
  11. Sigh. It's the inevitability that hurts the most. And that was written before the second.
  12. This team is impossible to understand. And by "this team", I could mean either of them.
  13. I like 5 set games, it gives us matches like Murray's, but there's also the equal pay debate as playing a maximum 5 sets for the same money as playing a maximum of 3 sets has never seemed right to me. Turn everything into 3 sets and that goes away. Murray though... the man is incredible. He's held together by metal and hope yet his determination is endless. He deserves so much more respect than he'll get from people who just look at his major victories.
  14. Very British-centric news, but the BBC are going to start broadcasting live games until the end of the season, starting with the Paris game on Thursday. I'm going to go out of my way to watch it in the slim hope that it helps get some more coverage in the UK.
  15. Wanna swap him for Rudy Gobert and our 2035-2039 first round picks?
  16. The reason its vacant is that Francis Ngannou has left the UFC and vacated the title, turning down astronomical money to go and do other things. Those other things appear to be a 2 fight series with Jake Paul, one boxing, one MMA. So on the plus side, we may get to see Jake Paul get absolutely wrecked. But yes, Jones does not deserve a fifth chance, having burned through any potential good grace his talent affords him again, and again, and again, and again. Whoops, I forgot one of his many drug test failures. Sixth chance.
  17. I only get a certain amount of time off a week, I'm not wasting any more of it watching this shit show. Nobody on the pitch seems to care, so why should I?
  18. I know that the ridonkulous amount of offensive talent the 49ers have is distorting the numbers, but surely Purdy has to be the permanent starter after these last five weeks.
  19. I found my Rock Band keyboard and thought I'd really like to use it again, so bought Rock Band 4... not knowing that RB4 has no support for the keyboard peripheral. I've dug out my guitar to try and make use of the £35 I spent on it, because whilst I can sing, it's not something I particularly want to do when people are listening.
  20. What's perhaps more unsettling is that there are two officials covering the same game who both have different interpretations of the same law. That surely shouldn't be happening.
  21. Yakuza 3 completed... I can absolutely understand what you mean with the boss battles, getting one shot of a 5 hit combo in before getting slugged by an unblockable move became tiresome fast. Thankfully... I did what Ruki suggested with the difficulty, so it wasn't so bad. I still did most of the side stories, and there were some good ones, particularly the murder mystery one. But other than that, here's a list of my issues: Despite all those complaints it wasn't as bad as I feared, but I'm also glad it's out of the way. On to Yakuza 4...
  22. If they want F1 23 to be a realistic simulation game then they should probably remove MyTeam as a game mode, because the concept of a new team joining the grid (let alone with a driver that has no personal sponsorship) is evidently not a realistic event.
  23. The teams (that is, allegedly, 9 of them except Alpine because Renault want to sell engines to the Andretti team) now think that the entry fee should be $600-700 million, instead of the $200 million that is written in the laws of the sport. This goalpost moving is an embarrassment to everyone involved at this stage.
  24. International I could understand, but all football at the age of 33 is a bit of a surprise. I guess his heart just isn't in it any more. I bet LAFC are really pleased they splashed out his wages and signing on fee for 12 games.
