  1. Those are two fine songs, I'm afraid I don't share your apathy of Are You Ready For Love?, I'd put it up there with my favourite songs of the year. I knew JT sang on Where is the Love but didn't know he wanted to keep it a secret, I don't think I've ever heard of a popstar concerned about overexposure before.
  2. i saw this thread and immediately thought of Sensible World of Soccer. So I went to find it, downloaded it for £1.90, and have been playing it ever since.
  3. If you get the Elf House at 6,000 gift tokens there's no need to worry about looking for gift bags that are hidden behind buildings, the Happy Little Elves grab them all for you.
  4. I switched over from the darts for what was intended to be two minutes and have ended up seeing 6 goals and some incredible attacking from both sides. Great game (of what I saw).
  5. You can chuck Damien Martyn in to the retiring in the 06/07 series as well, although that was halfway through the series. Martyn was always considered the weak link in teams with Ponting, Waughs, Hayden, Langer, Gilchrist, Hussey etc. but he'd walk into the current Aussie line-up.
  6. I've only spun the wheel once and got a snow decoration of some sort.
  7. Yeah it was the 5-0 whitewash in 2006/07 when Warne and McGrath retired. Wouldn't bet against a similar result this time.
  8. I don't mind Bedingfield but he had better songs than that one. Plus his sister is all kinds of hot. I loved Breathe back when it was released but it's not really something I'd go back and listen to now. We're getting to the point of 2003 where I was learning to drive so I've got songs that remind me of that, if my music radar is working then I'm thinking the next pair will include someone asking if we're ready for something...
  9. I'm guessing there's some kind of glitch being exploited by my neighbour that has 43k in gift tokens in just two days.
  10. I remember St. Anger by Metallica was a theme for a SummerSlam once, I think 2002 or 2003. And who can forget BIG TIME~! for WrestleMania 22? As a pair of songs from this countdown those two have to be the strongest so far. Both are on my iPod, and both have easily stood the test of time in the decade since they were released.
  11. You know what would be fun? If the FIA said that the double points would be awarded for a race decided at random, meaning that every team would concentrate on every race to make sure they did as well as possible in case this one was the double points one. Then at the end of the season it's all a SWERVE~! and there are no double points.
  12. I might need to try and get that Balotelli TOTW for my Serie A team. I've got 170k in coins waiting around for a TOTW player. EDIT: Aaaaaaaaand Balotelli is 420k at least. Screw that.
  13. Yeah I just had to do the same thing, turns out I hadn't missed any but it's going to be impossible to catch everything without doing that.
  14. The quick tap to the next town would be so much more useful if I could remember to bloody do it. Admittedly I'm willing to accept some/all of the blame for that, I'm just ingrained into tapping the picture of Bart and Milhouse to go to the town screen. Has anyone found out how you leave gift bags in other peoples' towns?
  15. Christmas update is out, similar set up to the Hallowe'en stuff with gift tokens instead of ghosts to unlock things yourself, and community prizes as well. I don't know how new this is as I've not played for a while, but the ability to find Springfielders who aren't performing tasks with a tap is fantastic.
  16. Vettel, perhaps speaking on behalf of a lot of drivers as he's pretty much bulletproof, has already come out and said the double points are bullshit.
  17. Tomcraft is soulless, repetitive nightclub dross. Rubbish. Ignition I like, in fact I was thinking about it the other day whilst reading some of the God awful lyrics from R. Kelly's new album. Don't like him from what I've read about the person, but the song is good.
  18. Just seen this at the top of the BBC Sport page, I'm sure there's more to come: . What the FUCK. I hate gimmicks that are just for spectators and can possibly screw over a driver or a team's entire season.
  19. It's always seemed weird to me that I'd willingly pay to play games about doing things that in real life I'd really not want to do even if I was being paid to do it. Kinda like the Simpsons and the Yard Work Simulator gag.
  20. I always liked All The Things She Said, in fact I think it's still on my iPod now. I never really understood why Victoria used it for her theme in the WWE but it added to my reasons to like it. I don't think I even watched the video until about two years after it was released,
  21. Just finished the first time: And then I played the last day again and...
  22. I don't even know how anyone on the field could make the Lions out in their white uniforms against the snow. Surely common sense would have suggested the Eagles play in their alternate black kit and the Lions in their blue shirts?
  23. A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.

I never even heard that word, before I came to EWB.

  24. I like Busted but You Said No isn't one of my favourites, as you say Year 3000 is hard to beat (although 3am is right up there). Never been a fan of repetitive club music so Make Luv doesn't float my boat.
  25. Just started playing it as well. Six months late is early compared to my usual understanding of trends. Every time I let someone through I'm just waiting for a ticket to say I missed something to pop up. And should there be as many terrorist attacks? I seem to be letting lots of terrorists through
