  1. My refusal to acknowledge Jason resulted in me being distracted and crashing out whilst leading. I hope you're happy.
  2. Kids, you tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is: never try.

  3. There's our 1-2-3. I'm not happy being the 2.
  4. I kinda wish I was getting it this early particularly with the Bank Holiday weekend, I think I even have an EA Season Ticket from last year's FIFA but do they even work on the PS4 versions?
  5. What a pair of fucking idiots. Am I the only person who finds it impossible to believe that people are incapable of following a set of rules given to them by both the organisation they work for and the league that organisations belongs to? I find it hard to understand why people can't just think "I'm an NFL player, I shouldn't be smoking weed", let alone together, let alone while one of them is driving, let alone in the PRE-SEASON WHEN THERE ARE DRUG TESTS. Maybe it's just the Steeler fan in me that is pissed off because we'll probably have one active running back for Week 1.
  6. Well I've stuffed my chances of winning right up. Michael Bisping vs. Cung Le Tyron Woodley vs. Dong Hyun Kim Bonus Questions 1) Finish / Decision 2) Michael Bisping / Cung Le 3) Yes / No 4) Tyron Woodley / Dong Hyun Kim ------------------------------ Benson Henderson vs. Rafael dos Anjos Mike Pyle vs. Jordan Mein Fvrancis Carmont s. Thales Leites Bonus Questions 1) Benson Henderson / Rafael dos Anjos 2) Yes / No
  7. It seems alright to me, still learning the ins and outs (and I'm going to need to do a friend overhaul) but I'm looking at it as "at least it's something to pass the time". Although saying that the game is crashing at an alarmingly frequent rate since the update.
  8. 1. Grand Theft Auto V For me this encapsulates everything that the seventh generation of games was aiming for in one package. The game itself is the combination of the best gameplay, the best graphics, the best voice acting and the best scripting that I've ever seen, add into that Online which although not perfectly executed was innovation of the highest order, and the time that us EWBers spent playing it together was probably the most fun I've had in a video game. 2. Rock Band 3 Whilst GTA Online brought fun online this was the same thing but with my friends. I had a band, I was the singer and we had two guitarists, if it got to a point where I didn't know a song I switched to the drums (although I wanted a keyboard but never got round to it). Harmonix did a great job of keeping the songs coming until they inevitably hit a point where it wasn't financially viable. I'd so love for it to come back on the new gen consoles. 3. Batman: Arkham City It's a great game, probably the best compliment I could pay it is that I watched a full Let's Play of this, then bought the game and played the whole thing even though I'd seen it all. 4. Grand Theft Auto IV Even though it looks out-dated compared to GTAV this was the game that convinced me to get a PS3. The original game was a lot of fun, the two added games made it even better. 5. Pokémon Black/White Picked this ahead of its sequel purely because it was a 100% original game as opposed to borrowing the same world and adding a few bits to it. It's Pokémon so that gives it points in my eyes, plus I racked up over 200 hours playing it. 6. Xenoblade Chronicles I only heard of this, played it and completed it in the last few months and it's good enough to get this high. An absolute epic of a game which did feel like it was never going to end. 7. Assassin's Creed 2 Pushed ahead of both the original (too short), its sequal (protagonist I just wanted to punch plus too much animal slaughter) and the two games that it was tied with (no real advancements), AC2 to me is the best in the series so far and everything is just right. Ezio is awesome, the Desmond sections feel more organic and the various cities made exploring more fun. 8. Batman: Arkham Asylum Loved it enough to play through twice with the second time being a 100% run which I never bother doing, Arkham City was able to make a great game better but this had a lot of advantages that City didn't have such as the enclosed space making everything that bit more unsettling. 9. Race Driver: Grid It's not often I get hooked on a game so much that I stay up all night playing it without any idea of what the time was. I felt let down by the sequel which wasn't as good despite a nearly three year gap. 10. Super Smash Bros Brawl I enjoyed it enough that I sent my Wii away twice to get properly cleaned so it could read the more complex DVD that it was on. The franchise itself was good but the addition of Subspace Emissary added the single player element that made it complete. 11. Sleeping Dogs Easily the surprise hit in my mind, I only got it because I saw good reviews and comparisons to GTA and I was so glad I did. Probably going to get the re-mastered version. 12. FIFA 14 13. Madden 25 Sports games are my bread and butter so my two favourites were always going to be in this. FIFA gets ahead of Madden purely because of FUT (I'm not good enough at Madden to play online so I can't get into MUT). I've played the two main single player modes of both of them more than anything this year. 14. Order Up! I'm not expecting this to be in anyone else's list but I love it, the simple concept of cooking using a Wii Remote put into a restaurant setting and you've got a happy Chris. 15. Pokémon Black/White 2 See my entry for Pokémon Black. 16. Assassin's Creed 3 See my entry for AC2. 17. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Another game I went to the extent of 100% completing which was a lot of time. I love the LEGO humour and I love Star Wars so... there it is. 18. Mario Kart Wii Another offline multiplayer game of note. The 48 race championships are both fantastic and mind-bendingly painful. 19. Pokémon Soul Silver Got into the chart purely because I thought the Poké Walker was incredible. 20. Assassin's Creed Good enough to sneak in. I orginally thought it was top 25, so here's what would have been there: 21. Don Bradman Cricket (would be in if the career mode was more flexible in difficulty) 22. Infamous 2 (better than the first game, if only just) 23. Pokémon Diamond (feels really dated now to the extent I forgot it was on the DS) 24. WWE '12 (Attitude Era puts it ahead of 2K13's WrestleMania mode) 25. G1 Jockey Wii (Seriously, I've played this more than any console game on this list) Just missed out:
  9. It's about time they did something. Family Guy QFS has been on fire recently with huge events and new characters to unlock that I've barely played TSTO for the last month.
  10. It looks really good, but I've always struggled with the analogue stick method of golf games, I just can't get it dead straight no matter how hard I try.
  11. To be fair it was the final game of a competition they've been covering for the past month, the replays were due to a rain break which delayed and eventually ended the game. Pretty uninspiring card in the end anyway.
  12. I finished the KOTR with a semi final place and got a rare Randy Orton card. Screw that.
  13. Anyone watching the Extra Slice spin-off? I find it to be alright but I'm not the biggest Jo Brand fan.
  14. I've never seen a side capitulate as much as this with apparently no interest in trying to improve their game on these wickets that offer something to the bowlers. I can't help feeling they just see a Test match tour of England as a minor inconvenience that sometimes happens between IPLs.
  15. It's so incredibly addictive. My current record is 192-34 and my team: Alberto Del Rio - Super Rare (Pro) (Yeah, I got his super rare card twice) - Level 10/30 Eddie Guerrero - Super Rare - Level 10/25 Shawn Michaels - Rare - Level 14/20 - First card, will be Pro once my KOTR finishes and I can combine the second card Edge - Rare - Level 17/20 - In the team for tag team matches mainly Nikkie Bella - Super Rare - 12/25 - A super rare diva is just wonderful. One thing I'd change is that if you win 3-0 you get three picks, and if you lose 0-3 then you get no picks. It makes all three battles more important that way.
  16. A winner is me . Plus Jason was second until he went off the track and finished third .
  17. Mary's look of absolute disgust whenever "non-made fondant" was mentioned made me think he was going. Plus they made me laugh. I want Jordan out ASAP, he's the kind of stereotypical IT guy that annoys me by just being himself. I like Martha, although not in any other way than her baking because I don't want to be arrested. I also like Kate because she looks like the older version of someone I know. Nancy and Richard look really strong, Luis and Martha are probably just behind.
  18. 0.0030 off pole in the first qualifying. That's somewhat surprising.
  19. I'm not liking my chances. I don't have the pre-run setup help I had for the Croatian tracks.
  20. Probably because Cormier would say that to Jones' face or on camera, whereas Jones would back down and talk about respect and puppies.
  21. Ryan Bader vs. Ovince Saint Preux Gray Maynard vs. Ross Pearson Tim Boetsch vs. Brad Tavares Jussier Formiga vs. Zach Makovsky Bonus Question 1) Yes / No 2) Ryan Bader / Ovince Saint Preux
  22. This is fairly random, but the fact that in a stat-driven game such as football that the leading points scorer in the history of the game Morten Andersen is eligible for the Hall of Fame and hasn't been voted in is insanity.
  23. I have $500,000 to spend, (due to being - $250,000 for the series) - so what should I spend it on?
