  1. Holy crap that's the best finish to a game I can remember.
  2. Leclerc has been given a 3 place grid/race finishing position drop for blocking Lando in Q3, which pushes Ocon up to P3/a podium.
  3. Crazy that Luton were non-league less than a decade ago, and are now back in the top flight. But yeah, the ground stuff has already run its course.
  4. A penalty shoot out to play in the Premier League...
  5. Ugh. Just when you thought there might be an interesting qualifying result, the status quo returns. Not looking forward to tomorrow at all.
  6. One of the weirder aspect of the writer's strike, which is affecting every Marvel property, is that Ryan Reynolds is not legally allowed to improvise any lines whilst filming Deadpool 3 because he has a writer's credit and cannot create any new dialogue while the strike goes on.
  7. Slot has turned down Spurs to stay at Feyenoord. Even the guys I haven't heard of don't want the job.
  8. I could do without the jump scares and horror vibes the teaser was displaying, but other than that I am very much looking to Spider-Man 2.
  9. Symbiote Spider-Man vs. Kraven you say...
  10. I really hope that Assassin's Creed game is more like the old ones, and not the Assassin's Creed x Monster Hunter games of more recently. I just want to perform stealthy assassinations, not take number hit points off a giant crocodile.
  11. The mood whiplash in these presentations is always jarring. From a game about a beloved animal dying and being mourned by its friend we jump straight to Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean.
  12. Maybe it's just me, but because of her lack of activity in the last 20 or so years it feels like an entire generation don't really know of her music that well. To me, she's the singer of my favourite Bond theme, and one of my favourite songs in The Best. Her voice is unmistakable and never replaceable, and her courage to speak out about the abuse she suffered through is beyond admirable. R.I.P.
  13. Guess who's back. Again. Honda to return to F1 as Aston Martin's engine supplier in 2026.
  14. That lack of interesting new features seems like a bad mix of "not enough to convince people who didn't buy it last year to buy it this year" and "not enough to convince people who did buy it last year to move on to the 2023 version".
  15. McLaren have gone as close to Marlboro-livery as possible for Monaco (and Spain, because they can't get it changed back to normal on a back-to-back).
  16. And of course, the first team to win a play-in game, and the first team to lose a play-in game, and win the championship.
  17. Screw the PGA Tour vs. LIV Tour drama, give me Michael Block, a 46 year old club pro, tied for 8th after three rounds and getting to play the final round alongside Rory, looking to earn more money in one event than he has in his whole career. And then hitting a hole-in-one.
  18. My heart goes out to the ESPN commentary team, who spent the entire game cheering on the Lakers, and sounded so sad when they lost. Special shout-out to them saying how much "adversity" the Lakers had to overcome this season, when that adversity was nothing more than them being shit for 3/4s of the regular season. I'm hoping for a sweep because the media fawning over the Lakers is beyond tiresome at this point.
  19. There's always part of me that wants him to succeed even if it means moving on, but then he does something like that and I remember that I would actually quite like him to stay forever.
  20. As far as slim margins go, I'm happy Wednesday won because of that ludicrous penalty attempt by the guy that pretended to be walking back, made an obvious U-turn, and kicked it with no thought whatsoever.
  21. As suspected, Mortal Kombat is moving back from 11 to 1, using the ending of Fire God Liu Kang's path in the MK11 story mode as a canonical reset button.
  22. Oh he absolutely shouldn't have done it and I think he deserves the suspension, as DM says the double standard comes from the amount of influence the players/fans/staff are subjected to on a minutely basis throughout the course of following football.
  23. Very much like the NFL bans for gambling, the double standard of having betting companies sponsor almost everything involved in football, and then banning players for gambling, is incredibly confusing.
  24. I'm really glad the Spurs got the pick, it's hard not to have some kind of support for a team called Spurs, but also they have an existing French fanbase from Tony Parker which should help Wembanyama out. Only problem is the lack of star power they have around him, but I guess they also just became a prime free agent destination.
