I'm up to right near the end so here's what twenty million Google searches will tell you already... The Arkham Knight is... There's a scene towards the end which may be the most beautifully cinematic cut-scene I've ever seen. So many camera rotations.

I've now completed (lots of side mission spoilers): The main story continues to be very interesting, I'm still fairly certain of my Arkham Knight deduction but I'm really looking forward to how it gets to that point. By the way for those who haven't realised, that wheel of missions you get to choose from? That fills up over times with different missions. That's a whole lot of content.

Spoiler relating to Lars' side-mission Post Chemical Plant spoilers And finally 2/3s of the way through the story spoilers Also, make sure you visit the GCPD after every major plot point in the story. The amount of different dialogue that has been recorded is astonishing. Head to the evidence room as well, lots of cool stuff in there from the previous three games. I'm also glad they acknowledge the events of Origins, considering it wasn't a Rocksteady game they could have quite easily ignored it.

Side Mission spoiler/factoid

PS4 is running fine. The Batmobile is a bit awkward, particularly as R2 is accelerate and L2 is brake/reverse in every driving game but here L2 is to activate the tank mode. Just hit the first big milestone, DO NOT READ TO AVOID ANY SLIGHT SPOILER

Arrived today and there's a 3.5gb update file to go first. My advice would be to download any DLC you've got first (Harley, Red Hood etc.) as you can play that while the update file downloads. Finished both of the above and the gameplay is as fluid as always. Haven't started the story yet but I assume we will be using spoiler tags for any plot developments?

Are the BBC deliberately over-exaggerating the descriptions of their highlights? They said England's winner was a "stunning long range effort" so I watched it... and it really wasn't.

Speaking of Blitz I've been trying to play it all day but Rock Central hasn't been working. Very frustrating, considering it's on sale you think they'd have it running.

Bit of an update on Rock Band 4, Harmonix have said that it's unlikely there will ever be a Rock Band 5 as they want to use RB4 as a platform of its own and just continuously release DLC and updates rather than make a new game. Also if you want your previous Rock Band disc songs it's best to export them ASAP to avoid licencing problems. Lego Rock Band and the band-specific games have already expired. I've just looked through my Download library and found the Lego Rock Band and Rock Band 2 exports (as well as all my purchased songs) so I should be very well stocked for when RB4 comes out. Also, Uptown Funk confirmed as a disc track for RB4

If anyone's interested I've attached the DL chart for the last game as I've got the official ICC software that I use in the league I score in. Thought it might be worth showing how much losing a wicket effects the par score and how it balances out towards the end of the innings. Basically the number you see is the par score, so after twenty-five overs if the chasing team had lost three wickets they would need to be on more than 181 to be ahead, level with 181 would be a tie, below that the bowling team would win. Like you say it's a bit of a guessing game, hopefully it is a standalone thing. I still think it may be the opening of the game (the Joker sequence and Gordon's narration certainly indicate that) and then when the screen goes black you move on to being Batman, perhaps with Batman being the zombie at the end who's attacking the policeman to stop him firing.

I was lead to believe it was the first four minutes of the main Arkham game, although the Scarecrow nightmare mission part at the end sheds some doubt on that. I just don't understand the concept of finding enjoyment in being scared. I liked the Scarecrow levels in Asylum but this just feels a bit too horror movie to me.

Newest news is that there will "100% definitely" be a female presenter, most likely Suzi Perry or Jodie Kidd. I like Chris Evans but I think we can immediately say that this is Top Gear in name only now. Hopefully James May doesn't join as is being speculated so the three of them can start a new show elsewhere.

Morgan and Root are absolutely bossing the Kiwis at the moment, superb performances from them both. And there's nothing that can be done about D/L, it has its flaws but it has also made every cricket game it has been used in significantly fairer than before it was used.

I've started watching the Premier League Years series on Sky that's always on but I've never really had time to watch. It's great to watch the action from the 90s, purely to remember some of the players that graced us throughout the history of the league.. Like Regi Blinker. Or Sasa Curcic. Or Dmitri Kharine.

"All new line-up" as well, so no Hammond or May. Not that it was expected. Also, in case anyone wasn't sure (like me), the last Clarkson/Hammond/May episode is on June 28th, the last two films involving the three of them combined with in-studio introductions (and I guess a eulogy at the end) from Hammond and May.

I've never played a WWE game less than I played WWE 2K15. I was pre-ordering Madden and FIFA earlier and I usually pre-order WWE's release at the same time but this year I didn't, it really needs something worthwhile for me to want it on the first day.

I don't ever foresee a day when there is someone who has accomplished so much in any media genre with such a broad range of different roles, each one with a performance so strong that it becomes instantly iconic. A very sad loss, but also a great time to remember just how important Christopher Lee is to the history of cinema. "To us, Mr Bond. We are the best."

I finally have a Survivor Fusion Nikki so my RTG team will now have at least 1000 in all their stats. Not that I'm even getting remotely close to Owens.
