EA have taken the exclusive rights to the Champions League from PES for FIFA 19 onwards.

I tried a Squad Battle against the the lowest ranked team with 45 chemistry (about 72 OVR) and played my first Ultimate difficulty game. Lost 6-0, didn't even get a shot, let alone one on target.
  3. Williams are expected to re-sign Lance Stroll for next year as he has "met expectations". I assume those expectations are for him to turn up at race weekends and for his daddy's money to be in the account on time.
  4. I could watch a confident, in-form Steph shoot all day and never be tired. That shot clock-beater 3 where he was barely even looking at the basket was just madness.
  5. For those who thought the new trio had just reached their best stuff, Matt LeBlanc has quit as he can't justify spending so much time away from his family. I'm sure Man with a Plan had something to do with it as well.

WC mode is really buggy in the graphical interface as well. Seems like they released it because they had to rather than because it was ready. I've played three games in it so far with my bad chemistry squad, lost all 3. The first two I lost 3-2 and missed a last minute penalty (both Ricardo Rodriguez) in the last minute both times.
  7. As god as Danny Ric's drive was, let's not take away from how utterly garbage the race was to watch.
  8. I wouldn't like to do a psychological profile on someone I've never met, but I'd imagine that being the son of a billionaire hasn't left Stroll prepared for constant failings, or essentialy not getting what he wants. If it wasn't for the money then surely Kubica would be in the car in a heartbeat.
  9. To be fair, Monaco 1996 is my favourite race of all time for its pure insanity and random winner (and only 4 cars finishing), but without the rain to add the element of the unexpected it's just 20 cars on a Scalextric track with one pit stop to maybe shake things up.
  10. Or a dry Monaco race. On an unrelated note, it's due to be sunny all weekend in Monaco.
  11. I'd be as bold to suggest that Leclerc will leapfrog Haas and move straight into the second Ferrari seat next year with Ricciardo at Mercedes.
  12. Picture of the pilot has been released:
  13. Not that exciting a race, and these post-race interviews before any of the drivers are even remotely ready for them is just stupid.
  14. I know the car is awful and I know why they've done it, but the fact that Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica are sitting in the Williams garage whilst Lance Stroll and Sergiy Sorotkin are on the track is just absurd.
  15. NINE-NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. And of course the first day's play was washed out.
  17. Ugh, even though I was part expecting it it's just a gut punch. I've just started rewatching the first four series on Netflix (again) as well.
  18. Champions League it is! Can't wait for the inevitable Bayern, Atletico, Galatasaray group.
  19. So's that Kane fellow. I can't believe I just emphatically celebrated a goal scored against Newcastle.
  20. I feel sorry for the Leicester stadium announcer who spent all day practicing how to say " Konstantinos Mavropanos" only for him to be sent off straight away.

The Diaz-centric episode was fantastic, it's just a shame that it's so late into the season that being invested in his character is pretty much worthless at this point.

Just played my first FUT game in months and my opponent in Squad Battles has all his attackers in defence and all his defenders in attack. I assume this is some kind of new ploy to lower your team's chemistry to get a favourable opponent, then switch them all around when the game starts?
  23. Amazing that Williams didn't even qualify last year. I wonder how Darren Morgan feels right now
