I predicted Lou would win after episode 1. She immediately seemed like Greg's favourite, and that pretty much guarantees victory (unless you're Rhod Gilbert and you make it work against you). For example, see Josh Widdicombe, Noel Fielding, Bob Mortimer, Liza Tarbuck and Kerry Godliman.
  2. We got Jake Layman, you can't rule anything out . Out of those 10 I have to say the Spurs, Mavs and a potential sophomore slump Nuggets as play-off missing risks. And I guess you have to throw the Warriors in there with only one superstar and a Draymond compared to the multiple stars of other teams. Meanwhile in the East other than the Bucks, 76ers, Celtics and Pacers the whole thing is wide open. Even the Nets aren't a certainty until Durant is available.
  3. Allow me to be the first to congratulate the Milwaukee Bucks on their winning of the Eastern Conference in 2020. The trade for George includes the Clippers sending the Thunder the highest amount of draft picks, most of which are first round, in history.
  4. Due to no Pittsburgh teams I ended up following the Timberwolves because I liked their young roster and their navy/neon lime green colour scheme. I wouldn't recommend choosing a team based on colours.
  5. I dunno, just feel sympathy for someone who has suffered a pretty severe run of injuries and isn't able to find a deal when they should be in their prime at just 28. I've been watching some Summer League games today, some of the Grizzlies players had some superb three point shooting.
  6. Oof, probably should have been a straight red. Have to think that's game over now. That fall to the ground from Morgan though
  7. Serena's lowering herself to play with some guy who's only ranked 227th in the world. Serena and Federer, now that would be cheating.
  8. Ha, English people drink tea with their pinkies up. That's hilarious.
  9. It looks like the rumoured Serena/Murray partnership is going ahead, unless Serena is just trolling the press.
  10. Woj is reporting that there is "zero interest" in DeMarcus Cousins league-wide. I feel sorry for him .
  11. That's really annoying, I'm in the exact same boat in terms of having Detroit and was looking forward to trying PES. That said, anyone who doesn't have Detroit needs to take advantage of this, it's great.
  12. In slightly bizarre news, the Warriors have basically said they intend to retire the No. 35 jersey for Durant.
  13. Updated my post with all the latest deals. As far as Russell signing with the Warriors, my biggest concern is that instead of DLo going to KAT in Minnesota, that KAT will opt out next year and follow him to the Warriors...
  14. I'm just going to use this post to update stuff as I'll be following Woj's Twitter for a while. Official stuff in bold. Fun fact, the #1 trend Worldwide is "NBA Free Agency". 15. I may be in the minority but I actually think Jarrett Allen would be a better option than Jordan, but I guess reputation and being KD's buddy counts for something. Meanwhile Jimmy Butler looks very much like signing with the Heat, which will finally give the self-centred egomaniac the big fish in a small pond status he's been searching for since leaving Chicago.
  16. England beat India to continue their mad roller-coaster of a tournament. MS Dhoni played the most bizarre innings I've seen in a while, happily taking singles when they needed fifteen an over, and then refusing singles in the last over.
  17. The race finished over two hours ago and still nobody knows the results, at least not publicly. Someone on Twitter made a valid point, which is that if this was a football cup final and the winning team had lifted the trophy they probably still wouldn't be evaluating a VAR decision two hours later.
  18. Holy crap what a finish. I feel sorry for Leclerc again, but that might be the best dry weather drive I have ever seen by Max.
  19. From a T-Wolves standpoint we're trying to find a trade victim partner for Andrew Wiggins which would free up the cap space needed for D'Lo Russell to sign and play with his buddy KAT. Sounds like a good turn of events if it happens, so I will instead expect that we somehow end up trading KAT to the Nets by mistake.
  20. I was confused as to why that was, so I've looked into it, and the whole "grid positions move depending on the time the penalty was given" has left me even more confused.
  21. Lando Norris is going to start 4th tomorrow after grid penalties to Hamilton and Magnussen. It also means four different constructors in the top four grid places for the first time since God only knows.
  22. Jimmy Butler, known team-first player, will no doubt fit in well with the harmonious relationship between Paul and Harden. The Lakers are sending Bonga, Wagner and Jemerrio Jones to the Magic to make contract space, which I believe means they don't currently have enough players under contract to field a five person team.
  23. Too late for the 2020 Olympics though where the scores would be through the roof in the Tokyo Dome.
