Doesn't every league ever have lower ratings for its second week of the season? I'm just assuming that there are people out there who want the XFL to fail and are therefore making more of a big deal out of it.

Holy crap, there's no end to the limitations of Mercedes' technology;

It's actually a ridiculously smart plan from Mercedes. They told the FIA about it weeks ago, allowing the FIA to ban it for 2021 almost immediately, therefore making it a waste of time/money for the other teams to try and copy it for 2020. Unfortunately it may mean the 2020 season is even more of a foregone conclusion than it already was.

KAT is out "indefinitely" with an undisclosed injury. The best/key players at the teams I follow in all sports have been dropping like flies in late 2019/2020.

The Renault livery is only a testing one which is a shame. Racing Point being second fastest, despite it only being testing, is raising the ire of several teams who believe their car is essentially a 2019 Mercedes painted pink.

Utterly predictable, time to move on and concentrate on... whatever's left. 6th place maybe?

The big news coming out of the first half hour of testing is that Alpha Tauri have taken over the white team colour icon on the official F1 graphics, with Williams moving to a medium blue. If anything else as massive as that occurs I'll let you know.

Seeing Rokit plastered all over the Williams is a reminder of how lucky Williams were that Haas came in behind their backs to steal the Rich Energy "sponsorship". I don't know if we'd be seeing Williams on the grid this year if they had been the ones involved in that mess.

That 4th quarter was epic. Amazing what can be delivered when the best players in the world actually play at their best.

Realistically it didn't need to get to that stage, it would have been easy enough after their fourth dunk to say Gordon had scored higher in the first round. Although that would have deprived us of the Tacko dunk. That is a pretty dick move from Wade though.

That was the best dunk contest I've seen, with the stupidest result I've seen.

Meanwhile in the UK, I got Denise van Outen pretty easily, but I'm actually quite surprised at the level of some of the other reveals. Actual genuine singers like Ceelo Green, Jake Shears, Kelis and Skin, it seems a long way from the days of Teddy Sheringham and Patsy Palmer.

Some ones I forgot: Super Smash Bros Theme Park Theme Hospital and the Encarta Encyclopedia Mindmaze. Surely we all played that?

This is an appropriately timed thread, because I was thinking of one of the games I played most in my childhood, Sensible World of Soccer 96/97, the other day, and found out there's a mod with up-to-date teams which works perfectly. I've been playing that a bit over the weekend. That led me to find and download Grand Prix 2, something I played just as much when I was a bit older, and modded it to make it a "legends" series of 80s, 90s and 2000s teams and drivers. I've done one race so far, won by Alain Prost in a 1993 Williams. As for others...
