  1. No team have lost more Premier League fixtures in June than Arsenal.
  2. That's the sort of goal that reminds you this isn't a pre-season kickabout.
  3. It's a smart way to ensure you don't have the embarrassment of being a substitute that gets substituted.
  4. A goal! An actual goal! David Luiz, never change.
  5. Arsenal, who usually play in red, are literally playing in blue against a team who play in blue. I do not understand these kit choices.
  6. To be honest it's lucky that did happen to liven things up, because this match has been dire.
  7. "The system is now working and will be used in the second half". Bullshit, if it wasn't working in the first half it shouldn't be on in the second either.
  8. Um, so that's a goal? They don't appear to have noticed. It was literally behind the post
  9. As soon as they mentioned there was no fake crowd noise on Sky Sports Premier League I immediately switched to it. I couldn't stand it.
  10. This is all so weird. You have to wonder why exactly they need a PA announcer listing the teams for an empty stadium. Ah crap, the simultaneous knee-taking from everyone made me tear up.
  11. Pokémon Smile wouldn't look out of place as a Google April Fool's gag. And Pokémon Snap 2 New Pokémon Snap will hopefully be fantastic. A few months ago I dug my old copy out to play just because it's so unique.
  12. The new Paper Mario looks fantastic, the battle system in particular seems like it could be all kinds of fun.
  13. Hitman 3 announced for January 2021
  14. If they're picking "open" countries then the Nurburgring GP circuit is more than available surely.
  15. I was hoping that Imola, Jerez and some of the other "classic" circuits might get a look in. I'm surprised Suzuka has been cancelled, as it's an actual race track that seemed to be one they could have held any time.
  16. I've been under the assumption that the only reason sport is coming back this early is because of the amount of money that has been spent on the broadcast rights, the chances of those broadcasters allowing what they paid for to go free-to-air (with the exception of a whole 5 PL matches) are laughable.
  17. Weird they didn't just go with European Grand Prix for the second Austrian race. 70th Anniversary Grand Prix is a nice touch though.
  18. There's also talk of a reserve grid sprint race to replace qualifying for the second races at circuits that are holding two events, with the finish order being the grid for the race. I'm sure a lot of people think it will be fun, unfortunately I'm a traditionalist who thinks pole position should be earned through a single lap time, so I'm not a fan.
  19. The Williams F1 team have been put up for sale following their dismal on-track performance resulting in an even more dismal financial performance. They've also cut ties with Rokit as their main sponsor, perhaps as a way to make them a more attractive purchase for all forms of business. Meanwhile Renault are cutting a lot of jobs but have pledged to stay in F1.
  20. I'd say points deductions rather than fines. I don't think the clubs can be blamed if fans decide to be idiots and ignore what I'm sure will be strict instructions to maintain social distancing, and fines won't mean a thing to them, whereas their team losing points might dissuade them.
  21. I can't help but disagree I'm afraid, I can understand sponsors or the team being upset that he lied, but to let something that happens in an online race determine someone's employment status for an actual race team seems completely out of sync with reality. The way I look at it is that he was running at the back of the online races, thus damaging his reputation as a driver of cars in real life because people are taking these online races far too seriously given the lack of any actual racing going on, and so got someone in to replace him. I think Formula E are putting undue pressure on their drivers to take part in online races, in a way that F1 aren't hassling Hamilton, Vettel, Ricciardo etc. to do the same, and if you're not good at the sim game then you get put in the position Abt found himself in. Yes, the decisions he made were pretty stupid and incredibly easy to work out, but I do sympathise with why he felt the need to do it.
  22. So Daniel Abt got caught hiring a professional sim racing driver to replace him in the official Formula E eSports race at the weekend, which earned him a €10,000 fine. Now Audi have dropped him from racing in the actual, real-life event, claiming a breach of contract. To me this seems unreasonably harsh, and given what other issues the drivers have had doing the online races during the lockdown I can't see an upside to them taking part.
  23. Just moving mine across . From F1 Stirling Moss is the obvious example, 2nd four times, 3rd three times between 1955 and 1961. For recent times I guess Felipe Massa is the one who came closest without actually winning a title.
