  1. In their first 100 years Watford had 24 different managers. In the 17 years since then, they have had 16, and I assume that will be 17 by the end of the summer. And probably 18 by the end of the year.
  2. "I don't mind who my teammate is next year" is the sort of answer that explains why I dislike Lance Stroll so much. I think #keepcheco is more like #checo'salreadygone. I was hoping for a wet race for the only hope of it being unpredictable, and it looks like we have one...
  3. Without meaning to sound too negative, I wouldn't expect next year to be much different given the delay in the new regulations. It would take a monumental effort for anyone to catch up with Mercedes, particularly as most teams are more likely to focus on 2022.
  4. I can't think that it's happened since the 1950s where the same car has been 1-2-3-4 on the grid, but here we are. I fear the race is going to be a procession.
  5. I've only played 30 minutes of Paper Mario but I've enjoyed it so far, granted I've only done two battles and they were both tutorials, but I didn't see it as being anything game-breaking and I'm looking forward to more of them to see how the difficulty increases. The best part, as always, is the humour. The references to other titles, the background characters making snarky comments, and of course the fourth wall being smashed to pieces.
  6. Yeah Russell's statement sounds very much like he was offered a better seat (Mercedes perhaps?) but Williams wouldn't let him out of his 3 year deal a year early. #keepcheco has been trending most of the day, with the Mexican president even supporting it.
  7. They've added a new mode called Casual Mode, I've not played it yet but it seemingly has much more of an arcade-friendly feel. Here's a video of it:
  8. I didn't mind Hanoi, and I'm not usually a fan of street circuits. Really didn't get on with Zandvoort though, started 10th but finished 13th, partly because my engine parts are on the verge of collapse, and partly because I couldn't get the hang of the fast sweeping corners in the second sector.
  9. I couldn't choose between here or TV, all I know is that this had to go somewhere.
  10. As I recall it was an accidental overdose of heroin, painkillers and alcohol, he had relapsed into heroin a few months prior.
  11. It's being heavily rumoured/reported in Germany that Vettel has signed for Force India Racing Point Aston Martin for 2021, replacing Lance Stroll. I kid of course, he's replacing Sergio Perez, who you may remember as the driver who went from 17th to almost 4th in the last race, including overtaking Stroll.
  12. And the Limers are... *checks football league tables* Bradford Park Avenue! Bottom of the National League North. Actually, they're the Timberwolves. It all fits together.
  13. I'm on 80 at the moment and qualifying 12th-14th which I still think is a bit high for a new team (Scorpion F1, soon renamed SlingShot Scorpion F1 because title sponsors are important) and a combination of my starts being good enough and my defence being mercilessly aggressive that I've finished in the points twice in two races. My team-mate is Mick Schumacher, working on the premise that his name would bring more sponsorship to a team. He's beating the Williams and an Alfa Romeo or two at the moment.
  14. Those were indeed his exact words. It's a 5 star resort hotel with prices of $338 a night, with all the players getting every possible extra service for free, but apparently that's not good enough. Some people really are out of touch with reality.
  15. It truly has more stereotypes than should be physically possible. But hey, I'll give it a go. October 29th it is. Oh mate, you mate don't mate think mate that mate Pokémon mate Shield mate sounds mate like mate a mate real mate English mate dialogue mate? Come mate on mate.
  16. A derby win is a derby win, but this one feels hollow. Both these teams used to be so much better.
  17. Last Lap Lando strikes again!
  18. As far as poor judgement goes, cutting away from the anti-racism stance to watch someone jump out of a plane is a pretty high bar to beat. Meanwhile this may be the wackiest national anthem in recent memory. Ferrarlol.
  19. It is utterly baffling they've opted to include backyard cage fights. It's like an official F1 game including illegal street racing.
  20. Ah wet qualifying, always fun. Glad for Russell to get through to Q2. Lewis's lap was phenomenal. Meanwhile, they're having the interviews directly behind the still revving engines which is hilariously stupid.
  21. Leclerc has been "warned" for his blatant disregard of the protective measures. Can't help feeling a positive test would have made things a lot different. Bottas was fine as he was only around the people already in his bubble.
  22. Thanks for that. My favourite part of the Paper Mario games is the story and the humour, so I doubt it’s going to be much of an issue for me.
  23. The gaming world is apparently up in arms because Paper Mario Origami King doesn't have a standard EXP levelling up format, meaning it's more like Sticker Star than Thousand Year Door. As one of the 99% of the world who didn't own a Wii U so never played it, what was so bad about Sticker Star?
  24. In fun news, both LeClerc and Bottas chose to leave the isolation bubble in Austria and head back home to Monaco, in Leclerc's case because he simply couldn't miss his girlfriend's sister's birthday party. It's utterly mind-boggling how people can't cope with what really aren't that difficult of restrictions.
