Alex has already said they won't have a studio audience this time unfortunately.
  2. I saw an ESPN show on BT the other day which had Steve Nicol getting very angry at accusations he was biased for choosing Jordan Henderson as player of the year, like, proper ready to walk off the set (well, out of his living room) angry. They did indeed mention Shaka Hislop was going to be on the show after the break.

Looks like a good group. Vegas if obviously the big name standout, but I'm hoping Richard Herring will be good viewing. I'm still very interested to know how they go about doing any of the tasks given the current situation and the lack of time before the series airs.
  4. One more season at Spurs, including a PFA Player of the Year award? He's one of us In exchange, Les Ferdinand, Ruel Fox and Jermaine Jenas are all available!
  5. I was hoping one of my fellow Spurs contingent would make the first move because I was struggling to cut it down, but here we go... GK Hugo Lloris Ian Walker Paul Robinson DEF Jan Vertonghen Kyle Walker Danny Rose Toby Alderweireld Ledley King Stephen Carr Michael Dawson Christian Ziege Gary Mabbutt (Justin Edinburgh missed out as I really wanted Mabbutt, and Ziege was always a personal favourite of mine. There was another England centre back we had for a while, but I don't recall his name or what happened to him.) MID David Ginola Rafael van der Vaart Christian Eriksen Luka Modric Gareth Bale Darren Anderton Son-Hueng Min Dele Alli (Would have Davids had he been around longer, would have been Carrick if I didn't think he was a Man Utd certainty) FWD Jurgen Klinsmann Dimitar Berbatov Harry Kane Teddy Sheringham Jermaine Defoe (It was a toss-up between Defoe and Robbie Keane, but Keane has about 13 other clubs he can represent.) Good luck picking an eleven from that.
  6. Yeah I didn't realise the grunts would be in balloons too, once that was clarified I was able to get through it, although it took ages to find Cliff. Probably worth it for the legendaries in the end, as well as the rarer ones that showed up. On the shiny front I can now add Qwilfish to my Roselia, both of which I had already got shinies of. My shiny luck has been abysmal ever since I snagged a shiny Mewtwo during the Gen 1 event a few months ago. I'm happy to accept that deal though.
  7. Changing an event to allow people to play from home and then making the entire second day dependent on your ability to get to Poké Stops seems like a massive error in judgement. I imagine there's going to be a lot of unhappy people who wouldn't have bought a ticket if they knew this in advance.
  8. The man that the Timberwolves, noted constant losers, decided wasn't good enough for them? Good grief, the Knicks have no clue.
  9. I feel a bit let down now, the first four hours being repeated for the second four isn't great. Also I've only caught one shiny, whilst someone else I know has caught 10.
  10. If they needed a name, the Nurburgring was the Luxembourg GP twice as well.
  11. I bought the ticket and its been great so far. Every hour has something interesting, this hour it's a load of Fire types with Tepigs, Litwicks etc. that I need for candy, last hour it was the rare candy with gifts hour, it's a lot of fun.
  12. I have to assume that Eifel GP is because of some sort of contractual thing regarding the term German GP. And I have to assume that the Emilia Romagna GP is because the San Marino GP is... it's... hell I don't know. Pretty damn ridiculous, it's a recognised grand prix that has only ever been at Imola.
  13. Forza news was what I was hoping for, and a 30 second clip of a race at Laguna Seca is not exactly much to go on. I think it's safe to say it'll be a while before I get an X Box S.
  14. Ah, the traditional Spurs pale blue home kit. I very much hope that is just a lighting issue.
  15. Not entirely sure what Hockenhem has done to deserve the shaft, given that it provided the best race of recent times last year. If we do end up with three races at Silverstone I hope they at least consider running one of them on the old circuit layout (pit straight into Copse etc.) to mix it up. The 70th Anniversary race would be a perfect opportunity.
  16. I may have had one of my best racing experiences ever at Azerbaijan. Firstly, despite me usually hating street circuits, it turns out I'm amazing in Baku, particularly the first sector. I have no idea why or how. I was still on 80% and stunned myself, and I assume the fictional F1 world, by topping P2 doing my Qualifying practice. When it came to qualifying itself I tried to nerf myself by upping it to 85% and qualifying on mediums, and I still ended up 6th. During the race I passed Hamilton for 5th at the start, and stayed there until everyone else on softs made their stop. I tootled along in the lead for a few laps, and when I eventually pitted I was able to get out in 3rd, ahead of the Ferraris, Hamilton and Albon who held themselves up squabbling for position whilst I was leading. Of course I'm on softs, the tyres I aced practice with, and I was able to catch Verstappen on the next lap and overtook him around the outside of Turn 1, nearby wall be damned. I then had to catch Bottas who was 5 seconds ahead with three laps remaining, and caught up with him at the first corner of the last lap. Super first sector worked wonders and I squeezed my way past at Turn 3 after the second DRS zone. I had to defend a bit as I may have started to panic a little, but as I hit the final straight a beautiful yellow flag appeared for the sector, meaning I was home and dry, with a fastest lap 0.9 seconds faster than anyone else for good measure. I also let out a surprisingly big scream as I crossed the line. And that's the story of how Scorpion F1 won their first race. Oh, and in the post race interview, I was asked "What do you think of Renault's form this season?", to which I was unable to answer "I've just scored the biggest upset in F1 history, what the hell do I care?".
  17. Yeah as far as subreddit's go, F1 is pretty good. You might have to scroll through the usual reddit nonsense (I drew a picture! On this day 24 years ago this happened! etc.) but a lot of the good F1 stories are behind paywalls or language barriers, and there's always someone to provide the information you're after.
  18. LADSLADSLADS. Meanwhile Watford are getting thrashed, and whilst I feel sorry for the players, the club itself deserves it.
  19. I'm enjoying it as well. I do see what people were saying beforehand about battles being meaningless with no reason to grind, but the lining up does add some novelty each time, and whilst it seems easy to begin with I've missed quite a few now. I'd like there to be an option for less time if possible. I've done a couple of boss battles so far and they are really fun, there have been people complaining about how long they take but I fail to see how a deeper battling experience can be considered a negative. But yeah, the storyline and the humour are right on point and exactly what I was hoping for, with the extra fun of collectible hunting and random cameos. I went crazy for the completely out of left field...
  20. Archer didn't play in this one though . I think they'll go Anderson, Broad, Archer, Leach. It makes the batting very frail but Leach would be more effective against the many right-handed West Indians. Archer probably deserves another test off as punishment, but if nothing else he's rested. The bigger issue though is if Stokes is going to be fit to bowl, if not then those four, or whichever four get picked, will have to do it by themselves.
  21. I went away for a few minutes and missed a Harrykane blowing through the game.
  22. Josheph Benavidez is now 0-4 in UFC title fights (0-5 if you consider the WEC Bantamweight title to be UFC property), some things really aren't meant to be.
