Thought it worth starting the new season thread seeing as trading starts tomorrow and the draft (with a Timberwolves #1 pick, I swear if we use it on Lamelo Ball I'll be very angry, I'm not sure he can spell "team" let alone understand the concept of being part of one) on Wednesday. Speaking of trades and their rumours, here's a Woj dump.

Tiger's par 3 10 was quite amusing, but yeah DJ has this. He's played very well all weekend, hope he gets the tournament record.

To be fair, they had to pit Stroll because he had burned through his tyres and Perez was easily going to pass him. Of course, a good driver wouldn't have then blistered his brand new inters on their very first lap. I don't think there's ever been a better manager of tyres than Sergio, 48 laps today is insane. He surely has to have a seat somewhere next year.

Surely they wouldn't need Diesel to be there for a voiceover role though? After writing that and it feeling very weird to use Diesel as a surname, I had to look up his real name. It's Mark Sinclair.

What a drive from Lewis, and what a driver he is. So happy for him. Also happy for Sergio, and definitely for Seb grabbing third. Just a great race overall. Also, Strlol.

Started a game with Chippenham, lost 4-0 in my first game, quit. Started a game with Spurs, lost 3-0 in my first game, quit. It's possible I'm not very good at this.

I'll never like Stroll, but fair play to him for getting the pole. Would have liked Sergio to get it, but that's his fault for not keeping it on the track.

I did enjoy that they turned the first ever broadcasted task into a team task, despite the... visuals it resulted in.

Hanoi (Vietnam) has been dropped for 2021, and likely permanently, after corruption charges were filed against one of the organisers. Imola, Istanbul and Portimao are already being considered to replace it. Not Mugello though, for some reason. Meanwhile Interlagos' future is likely to be confirmed as a go-ahead, with the Rio "let's just move these trees out of the way" track still awaiting environmental confirmation, which will be a struggle. It may well be that the only grand prixs ever held on the Hanoi circuit are in F1 2020.

Always fun when someone throws a strop because they want to take a penalty, they get their own way, then miss it. Even better that someone else scored the next one.

Sad to hear of the death of Geoffrey Palmer. I loved As Time Goes By and that was mostly because of him, a very talented actor who perhaps had a typecast role, but he always delivered.

Look, Spurs don't have a lot of awards in recent years, don't take that away from us as well.

If you have some spare time, look into his life before he got the Bond role. If even a couple of the stories are true he was an absolute badass.

Given the gap between the Mercs and everyone else, and how narrow the track is, I'm not holding high hopes for a good race tomorrow. Hey, Lewis just said the same thing, other than complaining about how far ahead the Mercedes are.

For me he is Bond, and always will be. This is really sad news, but he leaves behind a huge legacy and will always be an iconic figure. RIP.

Russell and Latifi confirmed for Williams, and if we assume that Schumacher and Mazapin are Haas-bound, it's just the one Red Bull and one Alpha Tauri seat left. Oh, and Lewis' Mercedes seat. Assuming Hulk and Perez won't go to Alpha Tauri, it's between them and Albon for the Red Bull seat, and between Tsunoda, Kyvat and potentially Albon for AT.

Interlagos is one of my all-time favourite tracks so I'm sad to see it go. It's safe to say that if there was a Brazilian on the grid, or even close to being there, there wouldn't be even a consideration to not having a race in Brazil.

I think I may have solved it by getting Home and switching one from Lets Go Pikachu, but thanks anyway. My issue was very much based on my team being Level 40, and not being able to catch anything over L50 even if I had been able to somehow get through all the wild non-Dittos!

Has anyone got a spare Ditto they can send me on Sword? I thought it would be easy to get one after getting the water bike, but I was wrong...
