  1. Got drawn into a group of death in the UEFA Cup with Manchester City, Leverkusen,Sevilla(yipes) and an Austrian team called GAK.

We were predicted to draw with GAK away but thumped them 9-0 with Almeida bagging 5 goals, lost to Leverkusen 2-1 despite a brave fight and a late goal which made them nervous in the end. Then travelled to England to face the Mancs and were 2-0 up in about 12 minutes through Mackie and Almeida.

Unfortunately Peter Crouch decided to rip the shit out of my defense and scored a hat trick but we stole the point in the 89th minute with Bobby Zamora heading in from a corner, we had to get a point against Sevilla at home despite their squad consisting of the likes of Dani Alves and Fabiano. They got an early goal through a set piece but Mackie levelled just before half time and we hung on to get through the next round!, I was hoping for an easy tie and we got one!.

    Valencia:(

  2. Into my second season with Aberdeen hoping to break the Celtic-Rangers domination.

Joined the club in the middle of the first season and Abderdeen were languishing at 8th place barely had any funds so relied on a surprisingly brilliant partnership of Bobby Zamora and Darren Mackie who scored 21 and 15 goals respectively to propel us up the table, Also managed to win the Scottish Cup 4-1 against Rangers to seal a European place.

Needed to do some rebuilding as I barely had a squad and bought in

Pedro Esterilla(Ecuadorian striker on a free)

    Ross Tokley(Utility player)

Frederic Nimani(A French International Winger at age 20 for 100K great deal!)

Ryan Russel(A Fast Winger on a loan from Celtic)

    Scott Carson

    Richard Lee(GK)

    Mike McGlinchey(Fast Striker from Motherwell)

and finally Hugo Almeida for 300K!, Great Heading and Long Shots and he's got 7 in 4 games already.

  3. Dynasty Warriors! amazing hack and slash game if you are into that sort of genre..I reccomend Dynasty Warriors 5 or 4, if you are already aware of the game and the history surrounding it buy Orochi Warriors which combines it with another game called Samurai Warriors.

  4. Sports Games for me as well...in particular Pro Evolution Soccer I once had a match against my mate which went 7-6 with me winning after throwing Rio Ferdinand and Carrick forward. I actually jumped around batshit crazy for a while after the winning goal.

  5. Just curious in your opinion what is the best goal you ever scored in PES? I just got mine today...0-0 in extra time and I hit a hopeful long ball with Terry, it heads towards Crouch but the defender wins the header and powerfully hacks it to the halfway line...Terry heads it back and Lampard takes it behind a defender with his first touch then curls it home from just outside the half-way line.

  6. I just can't stay away from my game on FM07, I am very far in right now and I worked myself up from the Belgium to the England job:

Started as Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Lower Divisions and I will never forget Soleymane Mamam who fired in 25 goals to win us promotion and then in the top flight he got 15 goals, Dong Fangzhou I remember being very poor and I brought in two Swiss U-21 midfielders in the second season(one of them was called Tallision as far as I recall)who got 10 goals and loads of assists to help us win the league.

After a few more years at Antwerp where we failed to win the league again but turned into a solid team I left for the Belgium national team where I failed to qualify for anything and resigned.

I then moved from Belgium to Scotland where I managed Hearts for two seasons and my best signing was young Chelesa left back Ryan Bertrand who had 20 for free kick accuracy and always scored them, several on loan players such as Gavin Rothery(Leeds),Daniel Sturridge(Man City) starred and I ended up having an all English 11 with the likes of Lee Camp,Huddlestone and Woodgate also in the team. my best achievement was beating Barcelona in the Champions League group stage both home and away(although we finished 3rd and got beat by CSKA Moscow).

Then I was suddenly offered a job at Sevilla which I was very close to joining until I got another sudden offer from England(I was an improvement considering the last manager was Southgate)and I started the England job and am still there.

Peter Crouch was a true legend for me and my key player and I nearly weeped when he retired, Andy Johnson,Lampard,Beckham were all great as well and once they retired I thought I would struggle but I was helped out by the core of the Hearts team, my current England starting 11 with which I have won the World Cup,Euro several times and the Confederations Cup many times.

    GK:Paul Robinson(39 but absolutely amazing)

    DR:Micah Richards(Captain)

DL:Ryan Bertrand(Over 20 goals and the winner in a 3-2 win against Italy in the Euro finals)

DC:Matt Richards(A regen I think? found him at Wigan and he's quite solid)

DC:Henry Johnson(Tottentham Youth Team produced him and hes amazing, got signed by Barca)

    MC:Rothery(Playmaker)

    MC:Fabrice Muamba(Holding player)

    ML:Joe Cole(Still has good stats)

MR:Daniel Sturridge(Re-trained him at Hearts as a right winger and he does quite ok)

    FC:Ray Jones(Target man)

    FC:Theo Walcott(10 goals at Euro)

  7. Well this came out of absolutely nowhere>_>

    From Soccernet

Arsenal have joined the race to sign Middleborough's Jonathan Woodgate, according to reports.

Boro chief executive Keith Lamb revealed this morning that a third club had agreed a fee for the central defender and it has since emerged that Arsene Wenger has thrown his hat into the ring.

The 28-year-old had been expected to join north London rivals Spurs after turning down a move to Newcastle.

Worked my ass off in the Euro 2008(without Rooney as he had a broken leg)beat Italy, drew with Germany in the group stages and then in the quarters I beat Spain 1-0 before Micah Richards came off the bench and scored a shock two goals in extra time against Netherlands.

In the final we have Portugal and the swarmy cunt of a goalie creates the first goal with a punt up the field, Ronaldo scores a second but Downing and Beckham bring me back into it, off to penalties and he saves all three of my penalties to knock me out:(
